you could get a top flight 3b for arrieta or sale perhaps, it's your weakest position with harrison. just a thought.

When you type 100 words per minute and have 4 monitors it's quite easy to cross reference this stuff. And I used current yahoo rankings i.e. how far apart a player was from the yahoo ranking vs. their current season ranking. Phillips I believe checked in around rk 200, which is pretty close to his yahoo pre-season rank thus not undervalued. Simple.
Regardless, no one gets much more than 60% max of these types of things right so don't feel bad I'm not saying I am any better. just pointing out your 85% success claim was way off.

He strikes out too much, it'll be 30% plus in MLB. Unless you are stanton or chris davis type power tough to live with that K rate and produce. he's 26, and he has 4th OF drew stubbs type upside.

these are not the same. Frazier has 12HRs, an 18% K rate and a .210BABIP. Upton has 2HRs, a 27% K rate and .354BABIP. I will let you figure out who is still a star and who's fastly approaching scrub status.

my best guess is they break him in as a backup at 2b/ss, getting 2 to 3 starts a aweek. Lemahieu has been fine at 2b. Ultimately they try to trade him but that will get very complicated with his contract. Of course, maybe they look to package him with Cargo and/or McGee and get a team to take on all that salary? Rockies also 20-19 which complicates trading multiple players...so for now Reyes will play a backup role and prove he's healthy.

He looks similar to 2013 except he won't steal 44bases, maybe 20 more. average will continue to creep lower. 1HR in May so far, 1SB, and 1BB. He'll have more value than I thought, but he won't finish top 10 at SS.

I'll defend him. Yes, it's been ugly but he is streaky and has had bad months before.
His HR to PA is great, top of the league. Slight downgrade for injury concern (knees) but hamate bone and getting hit in the face I give him pass for. Has never hit 40HRs, but has hit 37 twice and 34 once, mostly in part seasons. Slight concern on K% and plate discipline/hard hit % has me downgrading him slightly into mid 2nd round. On pace to hit 45HRs this year, even with the slump, and fences pulled in at Miami. Could hit 50.

probaby right, more 20/10. Kipnis for his part is no great asset he's only stolen 2 bases, he#$%$ 6 and 9HRs last few years, K rate is up...yes he's 'ok' but he's a proven average commodity at this point. in my 6x6 league he checks in at #13 year to date for 2b, and there are a full 19 2b in the top 200. Conversely there are 50 guys in the OF ranked inside the top 200, so...OF is more shallow than 2b this year?

He pitches tomorrow again. Last start 4IP/4Ks. Will need at least this one and at least one more Sunday or Monday then will either take one more rehab start thereafter or be back. so two weeeks roughly.

I don't own degrom or nola so take this with a grain of salt. However, you do realize degrom's k/9 is now under 6 and his velocity is down 2MPH...it's starting to look troubling. Meanwhile, Nola has an FIP of 2.15 and great K numbers and a sure out pitch. This is closer than you think.
- Slappytheclown Slappytheclown May 16, 2016 5:04 PM Flag
pretty low, obviously. he was never a stud to begin with. more of a 3.4 to 3.5 ERA guy. K's were never high. In a 12 team league he may be droppable depending on who is on the waiver. Larger leagues I guess you'd have to search out other struggling players and do that type of swap.
- Slappytheclown Slappytheclown May 16, 2016 5:01 PM Flag
I wouldn't. I don't know why the Mets don't play this kid against LHP more, he hit like .330 against them in the minor leagues. If he's every going to develop against them you need to ride him, but it's the mets so go figure.
