Draft and Trade Talk Message Board

Scott Hartnell is a veteran available in 30% of Y! leagues. Somehow only 33 years old since it feels like he's been around forever, he rarely gets drafted in fantasy hockey leagues but his ownership tends to increase as the season wears on.
THE MONTH OF JANUARY.
Let's look at some stats.
Since he entered the NHL, Hartnell has averaged 0.57 points per game (less than 50 on the season), and just 0.26 goals per game.
But his career January averages? 0.67 PPG and 0.34 GPG (roughly 55 point/season pace).
But wait, let's look at just the past 5 years. Since 2010-11, his season average is 0.66 PPG and 0.32 GPG. Respectable enough, but his January numbers in the past 5 years are even better:
0.87 PPG and 0.48 GPG. That's a 82-game season pace of 40 goals and 70 points.
Tell me your team can't use a player like that. At least in the short term anyway. His numbers do tend to start dropping off back to his career averages around mid-February. But inexplicably, his stick lights on fire almost every January.
MAKE THE ADD.
Stewart & Lacy. I like Lacy over Ivory simply as a matter of touches and because the Bills rush defense has been pretty mediocre lately. While Tennessee is sieve-like, I expect CJ?K to see steal the show against his former team.
Marquess Wilson, v. NO (filling in for Marshall), or
Donte Moncrief v. Hou
Lamar Miller @ NE or
Daniel Herron v. Hou

Is Wilson bound to get a lot of action with Marshall out? Or Moncrief with Wayne & Nicks doing squat?
Miller seems like the safe bet to get a 50-60 yds + a TD, but does Herron have a higher ceiling?

I feel like Bell's only potential at redemption is if he scores a TD. On the other hand, Herron will be splitting snaps.

Already starting Lynch & Miller at RB.
My other flex options are Ryan Mathews and Daniel Herron.
The top RB experts rank Bell at 23, Herron at 25 and Mathews at 28, but I'm concerned about Bell's inconsistency.

Non-PPR. Already starting Lynch, leaning Mathews + Bell. Thoughts?
Both have pretty bad matchups but there's no good FA options. Eli's matchup is slightly better and he's been playing better over the past few weeks (890/6/1 v. 689/5/4), but all the fantasy experts rank Cutler significantly higher.
Anyone else? The difference between SF & Min are miniscule, and in part due to SF giving up more rush yards to QBs, which really doesn't come into play here.
