When Do Paid Pro Leagues Start?

I know they started a lot earlier last year because I was in one of the first Pro Leagues. I just looked at the transaction history for that league and there were trades that happened mid-June. I like playing in an early $20 league because it is much more helpful than mock drafts for my other leagues that draft in August. Wish they would open them up.

    Keeper trade...Bell in 12th, Gio in 5th

No way I do that trade if I am you. Both are around #8-12 RB's off the board this year (I rank LeVeon higher than Gio...should get more touches and TD's). Getting backend RB1 for 12th round is priceless. If you like Gio that much, I'd go a different route and maybe trade your 2nd/3rd round pick for him.

    Mock Draft from #4 Spot

    by Andy L Jun 2, 2014 9:58 PM

Man...I guess it's cool you're so into it but drawing any conclusions from all the mock drafts you have posted is pretty useless. I've done a couple of mocks and half the people are using autopick (almost everyone once you get past the first 3-4 rounds). Drafts will look a lot different once we get closer to the season.

    Waiver Order and Process

A TRUE waiver system would not continually reward bad drafting (i.e. being at bottom of the standings) week after week. Better to go continual rolling list initially based on opposite order of draft (i.e. last pick in draft gets initial #1 waiver priority). Never had a problem or bug with this setup over 5 years/25 leagues.

    Governing Trades

My opinion is that collusion is the only reason a trade should be disallowed. "Unfair" or "dumb" trades can be very subjective depending on how different people value different players, positions, and the rosters of the teams involved in the trade.

Using projected points is not a good approach because comparing projected points between players of different positions is apples/oranges (you could never get a QB for a TE trade through using that approach...almost all QB's will project to score 100+ more points than every TE not named Graham).
