Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
Both closers are available in my league (10-team, non-keeper in which two guys punt saves). Who do you think is the better bet to add as my third RP behind Rondon and Ramos.
Osuna pitches for the better team but could face competition from Storen. I think McGee is the more reliable pitcher who will blow less games, but he won't have as many opportunities.
I could have drafted Peralta in my league but didn't because I already owned Pollock and didn't want two guys playing the same position on the same team.
Then, I ended up with Grichuk and Piscotty, haha.
Was Jake McGee drafted in your league?
He went undrafted in mine and is a better option than all that you listed.
Okay, thanks, JAH.
And if he's not, other intriguing options that went undrafted include Wieters, Swihart and Realmuto (who I've seen on several sleeper lists).
I have a deep bench (six players) in my 10-team, H2H, non-keeper league, including Yasmani Grandal as my back-up catcher, who is currently banged up a bit. Travis D'Arnaud, an injury risk himself, is my starter.
My starting rotation is J. Fernandez, C. Martinez, C. Rodon, L. Severino, W. Chen, J. Nelson, K. Gausman and K. Gibson; a lot of potential but potentially some busts.
I'm thinking about dropping Grandal, who may start the season on the D.L., for Jerad Eickhoff. Thoughts?
Both of these guys were on a lot of "breakout" and "sleeper" lists to start the season, and I made it a goal to draft one of them, but I ended up grabbing both.
How do you think they will perform this year with regular playing time in a full season with St. Louis?
I've seen a few people across the internet write that Tomas might lose his job to Brito, but Yasmany is hitting above .400 this spring. What is it about his recent game that is going to cost him playing time? Defense?
I would drop Phillips and Rosario. You have plenty of 2B and OF depth, and those two went undrafted in my league.
Can you please look at my roster on the post called "How Did I Do?"
These are the players who I drafted yesterday in a 10-team, H2H, non-keeper league. I feel pretty good about my hitters, and the entire roster is filled with breakout candidates and sleepers, but a few of my pitchers could be boom or bust. Thoughts?
