Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
Richardson has looked bad for awhile, but because you have depth at WR but not much at RB, I think this is a deal you could do.
You do have some concerning question marks at WR though with Gordon and Maclin...
With this roster in a 10-team league and a spot available, I was wondering who the best player to add would be after week 1. My top options are Locker, Tannehill, Taliaferro, M. Lee, Woods, Mal. Floyd or Dwayne Allen.
QB - Romo
QB - Wilson
RB - Ellington
RB - Gerhart
RB - Sankey
RB - West
RB - Rainey
WR - Bryant
WR - Patterson
WR - Tate
WR - Wright
WR - Randle
TE - Graham
TE - Pitta
I feel like I could use the most depth at RB, but Taliaferro is the best option out there, and it might be weeks before he becomes the starter (if he does). Meanwhile, there are several available WRs, but I feel like carrying six is a lot.
Do you prefer Marqise Lee or Robert Woods as a WR5 for the rest of the season?
They are both available, and I'm thinking of picking one up for depth, hoping for a bit of a breakout as the weeks move on.
I'm guessing that adding a lesser RB to my end of the deal (Gerhart, Sankey) wouldn't help at all?
We'll have to wait and see how bad Cameron's injury is. I just know this guy has already told the league that he's concerned and wants to feel secure with his TE position ASAP.
Jordan Cameron's owner is a little worried about his TE's injury, but he's stacked at RB.
If I offer him Jimmy Graham for Le'Veon Bell and DeMarco Murray, is there any chance he would take it? Is that enough for me to get back?
I feel like it's a lot to ask for, but that owner also has A.P. So, it's not like I'd completely deplete his backfield.
This is a 10-team, non-keeper league.
I own him and am holding on for now...but at this time, it's a waste of a roster spot.
If you need help at WR, I think he can be dropped for someone hot off the waiver wire.
Could anyone fault me for dropping Chris Archer for Miguel Gonzalez in a 10-team, H2H, non-keeper league?
I drafted Archer, and he's been on my team all year, but he's struggling right now, and with the fantasy playoffs starting next week, I figure I have to ride the hot hand instead of a guy who has been getting rocked.
I realize Gonzalez doesn't have the same hype and name appeal as Archer, but he's been a lot better in recent weeks.
If it makes you feel any better, Ellington is also my #1, but Gerhart is my #2, and the only other RBs I have on the roster are Sankey and West.
I drafted Graham and Dez in rounds 1 and 2 and am now paying for it.
So, that should make you feel a little better on a Friday.
I usually always live by the rule that it's best to start a RB as your flex because they are guaranteed to at least score a few points on the ground, while a receiver (especially in a non-PPR league) could be shut out completely and get you a zero.
But, this year, my team has Ellington and Gerhart as starting RBs, Bryant, Patterson and Tate as starting WRs and Graham at TE. My FLEX options off the bench are Sankey, West, Wright, Randle and Pitta.
In this case, I feel like it would be better to start Kendall Wright or Dennis Pitta as my FLEX over Bishop Sankey...but that would be breaking my own rule.
I took Jimmy Graham in the first round for my 10-team, non-keeper league, and now, I'm really weak at RB. The backs on my roster are Ellington, Gerhart, Sankey and West.
We also start two defenses in my league, and I'm weak there as well. I have Indianapolis, Philadelphia, NY Giants and Minnesota.
If I would offer Graham to another owner in exchange for Bernard, Kelce and the Steelers DEF, is that enough? Or should I be seeking more?
Dennis Pitta is my back-up TE. So, he and Kelce, while not being Graham, could lessen the sting of losing one of the best players in the NFL.
Okay, I added Minnesota's defense.
Now, the question is...do I start them this week or go with the Giants defense against the Lions?
I realize neither of those options sounds very enticing, but in my league, we start two defenses. So, sometimes you gotta throw a few weak units into your line-up.
Definitely prefer Brown.
Johnson's best days are long behind him. He is injury-prone and doesn't have a good QB throwing him the football this season.
Brown is the clear-cut number one option for Roethlisberger to throw to. Should have another big year for the Steelers.
Do you think it would be worth it to add Minnesota's defense for their opening week match-up against the Rams?
I know they were terrible last year, but I feel like St. Louis will be pretty bad with Shaun Hill under center.
