    Bad trades

    by Stephen S Jun 26, 2016 8:17 AM

in all 8 of the leagues i commish the commish approves or voids trades. i generally approve all trades because there are various reasons trades are offered without upsetting the current year's play. in addition, what may look bad now may turn out very well for the team being criticized. however i would not allow the deal you speak of because of the intent of the giants lover. by the same token pence seems to be doing better than mac this year, he can argue. not an easy call under any circumstance but his inactivity would make me vote NO

you could have had him all year had his name been on the NA list and your league had listed NA as a viable roster spot that does not play. some leagues do, some leagues do not.

Customized leagues can change that if you have a commish who stiks to rules. In my leagues, managers have f ive days tp accept or reject trades. If not, the trade is automatically rescinded by me. Usually guys don't pull that mess if they are looking to deal. I am lucky, I have learned to commish from a guy named Jason, one of the best, and I have good, active managers.
