Draft and Trade Talk Message Board

I like getting Tam's input, he's knowledgeable and honest with what he says. At least in my experience. It's hard to say anyone gives "good" or "terrible" advice. I'll take honest advice anyday, though. I would assume that designating his advice as "good" or "terrible" only comes after the games have been played and he suggestions were either right or they were wrong. That's the thing, no one KNOWS what's going to happen. If he KNEW how each player was going to score each week, he'd be a billionaire.
If you ask for someone's advice online, you get what you pay for. YOU finally decide whether or not to take that advice or not take it. Ultimately, it's your decision. And if you ask for advice, you can't then get angry if that advice turned out to be wrong. Again, Tam nor anyone else here can foresee the future.
If you post on here looking for input and you think Tam gives bad advice, ignore his input. If you like his input, consider what he says. It's very easy.
Having said that, Tam... Donnell or J Reed this week? And, don't be wrong or I'm going to throw a fit and blame you for the loss.

I started the Rams last night too and I don't regret it. Would I have liked more points? Sure! But the defense played really well. The biggest problem with the Ram defense last night was the Ram offense.
Considering a turn over in their own territory that led to an easy 3, and the fact that the Rams couldn't get out of the shadow of the goalpost for most of the night... giving 'Zona a short field... the 12 pts given up weren't bad. How many times did the Rams go three and out? One fumble and EIGHT punts. No offense by Rams meant the Cards didn't have to rely on a 2nd string and then 3rd string QB to have to do much in passing game which gave the Ram pass rush few opportunities.
I really can't rely on either one of them but last time the Giants played the Redskins, Donnell went off for 23 pts. I don't expect him to repeat that, but 50 yds and a TD don't seem out of reach.
Reed seems to play decent when McCoy is at QB.
Who would you start?

I think I'd go with Landry. NE figures to score a lot of points so Miami will need to keep up. If Revis is on Wallace, Landry will get the targets. If you find out Landry will be on Revis Island, then I'm not sure. I'd say DJax, but that depends on his health and who is playing QB.

If you're in a PPR league, you might consider replacing Benjamin with Edelman. With Cam out, not sure how much Panthers will be slinging it around. Might rely on Stewart to be the focus of the offense. Even if not PPR, Edelman or Allen for Benjamin is something to consider.
First week of playoffs and I'm against a guy that's already beaten me twice. If Gordon doesn't perform up to potential, I may lose anyway. But, for flex position...
Mike Evans @ Carolina - With Cam out, I'd expect it to be kinda a ball control/running game strategy by Panthers which may give TB less snaps on offense and a more conservative offense by Bucs too?
Crowell vs Cincy - Cincy is horrible against the run and now their starting middle linebacker is out with injury. Manziel at QB could open some running lanes? Read option stuff? Crowell is splitting carries with West though?
other options: Steve Smith and Gio

RB - Gotta play CJ and Forsett now
WR - I'd go with Sanders and Gordon. With Manziel in, it should help Josh. With Cam out, Benjamin's numbers could go down.
Flex - I'd go with Morris and Bell

If all else fails, you could make a wager with him. Offer something really perverted if you win, maybe he'll throw the match for you. haha
I was guaranteed the playoffs after week 12, good thing because I've lost the last two weeks. My QB (Stafford) finally starts performing, and my WRs start under performing.
WR1 - D. Thomas... something looks off with Manning but I can't bench DT
WR2 - Gordon... he's looked out of sorts but Manziel should start this week.. that help Gordon?
Flex - If I play Mike Evans, he sucks. If I bench him, he goes off. Planning to start him this week. Unless...
Steve Smith vs Jax defense?
Could try to pick up Andre Williams or Crowell off waivers?
Defense... Minn vs Detroit or StL vs Arizona. Leaning to Ram defense since Palmer, Ellington, and Fitz are out.
I have Miami as my defense, but after the Jets ran for a #$%$ load of yards against them, I'm worried that Forsett/Ravens will do it again. I really don't want to start them this week. Options are....
Miami D vs Ravens?
StL D @ Redskins?
Minn vs Jets?

I think it's a good trade for you too and I agree with Paul that you need Forte more than you need Luck. I have Stafford too and thought about benching him a couple weeks ago. But with his upcoming schedule, he should put up some decent numbers, especially considering he'll only one game outside in the northern elements.
I'm not sold on Benjamin yet, but mostly because of lackluster Caroline O-line which is hurting Cam in all aspects of his game.
Standard scoring and we start 2 WR and one Flex.
My rostered WRs are: Dez, Antonio, Gordon, Odell, and Evans.
I'm leaning towards Dez, Antonio, and Gordon... but should I plug Beckham in somewhere?
