Yes, in the long run, Brees is a better QB.
But, there is more downside for Brees this week. Because of the matchups, I think a good game for Brees will be 270 yards & 2 td's. On the other hand, I think a bad game for Warner will be 270 yards & 2 td's. Yes, warner is fumble prone, but I think Warner is a safer play in week 1. If you research expert opinions online, you'll find plenty who have Warner ahead of Brees in week 1 matchups.
With all that said, anything can happen on any given Sunday. We'll have to wait until Monday to see the stats.

If the trade would have gone through had LJ been healthy, then the trade should still go through. One player made a bonehead trade because they didn't do their homework. I've been running several leagues for the last 5 years. In the past, we always let the Yahoo system randomly pre-determine draft order 30 minutes prior to the draft.
This year I'd like to determine the draft order well in advance of the draft. We can't do draft order based on last year standings because we have 4 new owners and 12 teams (10 last year). Also, we have owners spread throughout the state so it's impossible to get everyone together to determine draft order.
Any ideas, suggestions, or comments are appreciated.
