Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
Already have Nash on IR so need to drop Perron. Top FA's are Dubinksy,Doan,Hodgson,Wingels,Fleischmann,Killorn, and Clarkson.
Leaning towards Dubinksy or Clarkson to make up for the PIM's lost from Perron.

Wow awkward, hope you didn't listen to me, both Bishop and Lundqvist aren't doing so hot right now... If Howard gets a shutout I should stop trying to give advice.

Pretty hard decision, I'm no expert, but I'd say Lundqvist and Bishop. Lundqvist for sure since he's coming off a shutout and he's playing the devils who are struggling to score. And I'd say Bishop over Howard because Bishop has been on fire lately and he's playing Boston who is slightly underscoring Phoenix while at the same time out shooting Phoenix and more shots + less goals = higher SV%.

I think it's a pretty good deal as long as you have enough depth in goal or if there is a decent goalie available to pick up like Harding. So it mainly depends on if you can afford giving away a goalie without getting one in return.
My 3 goalies are Varlamov(for sure starting since he's playing the Sabers who are struggling to win/score) Bishop and Ward. Bishop is on fire right now but he's playing the Bruins where as Ward is playing the Islanders. I'm leaning towards Bishop because I'm in a head to head league and currently ahead in all goalie stats besides SHO is 0-0 and they have Fasth and Elliot for goalies so I'm not too concerned about losing in wins (currently up 2-1 )and would rather play it safe and play someone who should put up good GAA and SV%.

I'm no expert but if goalies are really valuable in your league i'd say team B Niemi could be one of the top if not the top fantasy goalie this year compared to Fasth who's still fighting for a starting position. Enstrom is off to a great start compared to Ehrhoff who hasn't done much with a struggling team. And a little MN Wild bias but I feel like Koivu is really underrated, he will pick up a lot of assists including a lot on the power play playing with guys like Parise and Pominville.
Is he expected to be put on IR or should I drop him since he's expected to be out for a couple of weeks. Options I have to replace him include. MacKinnon(tempting but would be really heavy on C only eligibility and not in big need of assists with having Backstrom and Enstrom getting lots of assists),Silfverberg, Hudler, Vrbata, Perron, Chiasson.
So two questions on who to start for Tuesday October 15. Justin Faulk playing Chicago or Matt Niskanen playing Edmonton. I'm leaning towards Niskanen because he's been getting a lot of offensive responsibility while Letang has been gone. But so has Faulk with Pitkenen out for the year.
Then is Hertl expected to play or is he still injured? If he does play is it worth benching Max Pacioretty or my other options to fit him in my lineup would be benching Eric Staal ,Matt Duchene, or Thomas Vanek. Part of me would want to bench Staal because of his slow start but I know if I do he would end up putting up big numbers.

I'd say Bernier, he is pretty hot right now but with Backsrtom injured Harding wouldn't be bad either but I still think Bernier is your best choice. Especially since your league counts saves, the Wild aren't allowing many shots so even thou Hards has good Sv% and GAA he's not getting huge amounts of saves.

Heatley got an assist tonight on the power play against the stars and the Wild changed their lines around a bit moving Pominville to the second line with Grandlund and Heatley and they seem to be forming some good chemistry so i'd expect Heatley to start scoring more goals soon. With that being said it's still up to you, once Coyle gets back from his injury the lines are bound to change up again. So long story short there's a chance Heatley just got off to a slow start and will pick up soon and at the same time it might be worth looking into replacing him if he doesn't soon. Sorry for the vagueness of my answer and coming from a wild fan I tried making this as unbiased as possible.
This is probably a dumb question but I'm new to fantasy hockey. If I propose a trade to someone how can they respond to it? Can they send me a message saying something like I don't want player A how about player B and can they just straight up deny the offer and then will I be notified so I'm not waiting forever to hear back from someone while I could be finding other solutions to fill the holes in my roster. Thanks!

Ok thanks for the advice. Probably a dumb question but when I propose a trade does the other person have a way of messaging me if they want to make a change in the trade and will I get a notification if they decline it I don't wanna waste my time hoping someone is gonna accept a trade if it's never gonna happen.
So my goaltending is hurting right now with having Quick,Thomas, and Remier so I was looking into trading for Halak,Bernier, or Varlamov for a goalie with a strong start to help out until Quick picks up. My roster currently looks like this.
So my plan was to trade Reimer and Koivu for Halak,Bernier, or Varlamov because there's a lot of good forward free agents i can pick up to replace Koivu like Grabovski,Eller,Simmonds,Hartnell,O'Reilly,Downie(for more pims),Dubinsky,Abdelkader ect... And then if Thomas continues to stay hurt/struggle I can drop him for Harding(if Backstrom doesn't recover soon) or Khudobin.
First year doing Fantasy Hockey any advice is greatly appreciated.
So I've been wanting to pick up either Grabovski or Eller (probably Grabovski over Eller) since they are both available in my league still but my problem is I already have 3 players with only center eligibility(Getzlaf,Stepan and M.Koivu) and the player I was wanting to drop is Hodgson who has c and rw eligibility. Would having 4 centers be that terrible or should I look for a winger(Simmonds,Hartnell,Fleischmann,Vrbata,Okposo and Aldelkader are all available in my league).
Also side question, should I look into dropping Alex Goligoski for someone like Paul Martin,Mark Giordano or Jacob Trobua.
My Current Roster
Defense: Yandle,Ekman-Larsson, Shattenkrirk, Faulk, Goligoski
I'm new to fantasy hockey so any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the advice. I dropped Hartnell and picked up Tim Thomas. Seeing as I drafted before Florida signed him he was still undrafted in my league.
My team is currently:
Any changes I should make or does my team look good?
