    Our 12-team league is entering its 5th season with the majority of managers returning. However, we're having trouble getting RELIABLE managers to fill our league out to the 12 teams that we would like. We appear to have picked up 4 deadbeats this season who signed on and then disappeared after the draft. Their teams are loaded with many good players. You can see the league settings here:

    The 4 available teams are Deathers, brandon velez, Filthy Animals, and Syracuse Smackdown. I'll award the team of your choice on a first come/first served basis.

    In a similar vein to what Frostbite said, switching a dynasty league from H2H categories to Points can create some hard feelings as you have changed the fantasy value of many of the players. In a Points system, power hitting and wins usually carry more weight. ERA and WHIP are non-existant. You would either have to re-draft the league or start an alternative league for the Points players.

    In my opinion, it's just as much fun as H2H categories, but there definitely is a different strategy.

    I know it's a longshot either way, BUT ... I'm down by 14 points with Kaeding still alive in my lineup. Elam is available if I want to switch. I figure LT isn't going to leave Kaeding very many FG opportunities, but Denver probably won't have many scoring opportunities at all. Who gives me the better chance?

    I'm in a league that uses IF as one of the roster positions. Fernando Tatis is classified as IF (as well as LF and RF). Well, although he is classified as IF he CANNOT be plugged into any of the individual infield positions - only the actual IF roster position. What sense does this make?

    Unless you're planning on having your draft next week, there's no hurry. Have you tried ESPN? You may not like some of their features. (They DO have real-time scoring updates without any extra fee - SWEET!)

    I would agree with the 70/30 split or anything close to that. Those who believe it's ALL luck are ignoring the analytical thinking that goes into making draft choices before the season and roster adjustments during the season.

    The only possible solution is for Yahoo to get more actively involved. These cheating incidents occur often enough to severely damage the integrity of Yahoo fantasy sports. If players don't trust the Yahoo leagues, they'll take their fantasy action to other websites. Fewer participants = fewer "hits" on Yahoo's site = lower advertising revenue. Yahoo better wake up to this!

    The only things that stand out to me are: Unless you think Cliff Lee is going to pitch out of his mind all year, you might want to trade him for a serious upgrade at 2B or 1B. Theriot is hot right now, but expect him to slide back under .290. Maybe you use him as trade bait (or throw him into a bigger trade). Pitching is nicely balanced, but I'm not a Rasner fan (yeah, he pitched okay yesterday). Other than that, your guys are just in a slump. Forget about this week.
