I've been patient with Holtby the whole year because I know he's historically been a great March/April goalie but he just hasn't looked good this year and with Halak coming into WSH, that further complicates things. He was getting hot recently so I started to have faith but last 2 games against Philly were bad. If he doesn't have a good game today, I'm tempted to drop him for Scrivens. Should I?
I'm not saying I'd never draft a guy on the bust list. It's the fact that I think they won't perform up to where they're being drafted where the sleepers are guys I can grab later that have alot of upside
Thanks for your opinion. What do you think of Tanaka or Weaver as a sleeper this year and where do you think you'd take Weaver in the draft?
I meant relative to Donaldson's ADP...sorry I should've specified. I'm saying I feel he's worth more than the ADP. What do you think of Tanaka or Jered Weaver as a sleepers? I really want to draft Sleeper ahead of his ADP but unsure where to take him.
Hey there, I have a list of sleepers and busts and was wondering what you guys think of them. I generally tend to favour hitters with a good avg and obp and pitchers with a solid era and whip so keep that in mind.
So what do you think of that list? Do you agree/disagree or have any names to add? I feel like there's some solid sleeper SPs I can grab outside the top 100 picks (ie Harvey, Miller, and Corbin last year) and would like to grab them as it's great value for them and if anything, I could sell high for solid hitter if I feel I have enough pitching to win. Any other names you have in mind?
Also I looked at where Hisashi Iwakuma and Patrick Corbin's ADP are and I feel they're being undervalued. Where would you draft either of those pitchers? Thanks in advance!

tough list to choose from, I'd take Cano, Braun, Ramirez but it's really close. Answer my question about keeping Pujols or Craig? Thanks!
In a 10-team league with 5 keepers allowed. I'm keeping Kershaw, Adam Jones, Cliff Lee for sure and am debating on my other 2. I have Pujols, Craig, Chapman...I feel I should keep Chapman since I'd have the solid closer but not so sure who to keep out of Pujols or Craig. I was leaning Pujols because we know what his upside is but a friend keeps telling me he thinks Pujols is done and I should stick with Craig for less risk. What do you think? Thanks!
Thanks for your response. Do you think that my slight modifications to the deals are good too like saying offering a dpick in trade 1 or Krug in trade 2 in case the original offer isn't accepted? Thanks again for your help and nice profile pic of Foppa lol
If it's Patrick Kane, then yes I do the deal since you're getting an elite forward. However if you're getting Evander Kane, then no. Like you said, goalies are scarce in an 18-team league and you have a solid starter. I do think you need 2-3 goalies only so definitely shop Price but for a forward you could grab in say the 2nd round of your draft. Please answer my q about a keeper league trade? Thanks!
It's not a bad offer but I'm wary of the Sedins slowing down....I don't think they'll finish strong this year. I could be wrong but my gut tells me they won't and for that reason alone, I wouldn't take this deal. If you disagree with me though...then take it. You can easily drop Granlund, I just feel you can get more for Malkin. Please answer my question about a keeper deal? Thanks!
I'm in a 12-team H2H Keeper League (3 years, 5 keepers, 8-team playoff) with standard 6x4 categories and am currently in 4th place. I carry 4 goalies and am unsure if I should trade one or not...I feel like 4 is too much to have. We can also trade draft picks for next year and I've accumulated picks so I can contend now and in the future. Should I stand pat with my team or make one of the following offers?
I get Erik Karlsson + Logan Couture and give up Shea Weber + Jaroslav Halak
I get Sidney Crosby + Tyler Bozak and give up Patrick Kane + Halak
Note: Bozak is a throw in but I'd do a Kane + Halak for Sid alone.
I get Wayne Simmonds + Joffrey Lupul + a 1st round pick and give up Halak + Chris Kreider + a 1st round pick
Note: I'd like to swap 1st rounders since the other team might be higher in the draft next year.
My team is as follows:
C - Krejci, Kesler, Stastny, LW - Vanek, Lucic, Kreider, RW - Kane, Semin, Gaborik, D - Weber, Brent Burns, Garrison, Krug, G - Lundqvist, Halak, Holtby, Jimmy Howard.
I've got two 1st rd picks, two 2nd rd picks, a 4th pick, two 5th picks, and one pick from each of rd 8-11. As a result if I need, I might throw in a pick in trade 1. Also the guy I'm trading w/ in the 2nd trade likes Krug so I could throw him in for a slightly better forward than Bozak and pick up Schultz off FA.
What do you think of these possible deals? Should I do any of them and if so, which would you recommend? Thanks in advance!
