Our league is a hybrid local/online league that will be drafting online. We have 6 local guys right now, with a 7th on the fence, and we also have 1 non-local guy that was in our basketball league.
Looking to fill the last 4 spots with either local or online people, first come first serve.
League highlights: 1st year of league, but the core of local guys have been playing together for about 5 years in various leagues in all sports. Head to head format 3 divisions, div winners and 3 wild card teams will make playoffs Keeper league Run on CBS $50 entry fee Payouts are $300 to 1st, $150 to 2nd, $75 to 3rd, then we have a Power Rankings lottery where you get an entry if you were in 1st place in the power rankings for a given week. 23 weeks = 23 entries. Prize for this is $75. Draft will be online in mid March
This will probably fill up fast, so if you're interested get back to me asap.
A bunch of us will be doing mock drafts as we wait for the real thing, so if you want to get to know how some of us draft, the sooner you join the better.

Why is this any more of a scam that any of the other money leagues looking for players? Some of them want $100 or more. Because I'm starting a fantasy baseball site and am interested in hiring proven winners to work on the site? I'd rather play in a league with people and see their skills first hand than take resumes so it's a scam? I don't get it but thanks for the input.

I'm looking for people that think they could do a better job than some of the "experts" out there. Admit, we all think we could, right? We all got fantasy skills, we just aren't lucky enough to have someone pay us to study fantasy baseball stuff all day every day.

I'm looking for everyday people like you and me who love fantasy baseball and think they could do a better job than some of the "experts" out there. Here's the deal... finish 1st, 2nd or 3rd in one of my leagues and I'll give you a shot at a job writing for our site.
Once the season is over, anyone that finishes in 1st, 2nd or 3rd will be considered for a paid writing position with the site. You gotta earn it though.
