So you have to start new league? there is no way you can decrease or increase number of teams and continue with your league?(history, stats, etc) Thats bad :( But thanks for help anyway.

I thought they wanted Gibby as #1 this season. So perhaps he can still be the man next season? But you never know with goalies in NHL.
The thing is, i am no longer kicking butt now :D I was 1st for a long time and then my goalie troubles began and my results are worse and i am slowly getting down. I still get wins, but i am not dominating like before so i am sure, that in play-offs i will be kicked off right at the start.

Thanks for the reply. My situation seems urgent, so it's kind of forcing me to go for the trade, but the thing is, i don't know if its not too hasty. Because if i go for another goalie, than with Gibby back next year and maybe Vasi contributing, i could have the opposite problem, too much goalies :D
And yes, right now, i am fighting for the lead in the league, so that's why i am even asking.
And why do you think having 2/week minimum is right thing? Because having only 2, its almost the same as having 0, because its almost certain that 2 would be reached by everyone every time. And having it 3 kinda makes the goalies more important.
Hi guys, i am playing in dynasty league (week to week), and we have 3 minimum starts for goalies. The problem is, that my goalies are Lundqvist, Johnson (who plays like once per month), Gibson (which sadly got injured and now is probably in minors for the rest of the season, and Vasilevski from Tampa (great young talent, but right now it wont help me.)
We have 20 teams so there are no goalies on the free market. (Except Peters and McElhinney, but they are also not having any starts)
So i am obviously loosing in several categories because of that and sometimes i dont even have the minimum required starts for a week so i loose all goalie categories.
The question is - should i just stick with that, forget about this season and focus on next? (Where Gibson hopefully returns to NHL and even Vasilevski may perhaps get some starts). Or should i trade some great player to get another goalies (more active goalie)?

thanks, and are there some issues that comes with it if you lower the amount of teams in dynasty between seasons? Apart from the fact, that players may have traded first round picks, which will be super valuable now if top players from deleted teams will be available.

when managing a dynasty league, can you lower the amount of teams before start of new season? Or its locked there is no way to do this in dynasty? thanks
