I would agree if it did not take six RBs in a row and nothing else - which has happened more than a few times. I am not sure what the logic is, but there is a problem in there somewhere.

  • In a draft, has anybody observed how the next player is chosen for you if you do not or cannot yourself?

I watched the results a number of times to be sure what happened if I could not connect to a draft or had to leave a draft towards the end.

For the first nine starter position picks, your draft list is used for the selections as you would expect.

For the next six bench picks, it does not matter what order you have on the remaining players. The highest player as ranked by Yahoo! (not you) is chosen.

    Has anybody else observed this?

    Thanks...

    Mike.

  • This shocked me when I saw it.

Automatic drafting does NOT use my rankings when filling out bench selections. I have watched the process numerous times since I participate in a lot of automatic drafts. The automatic selections do fine filling out the required position using the draft list I created. When the bench positions get filled, I know it is not using my list anymore and has started using the default rankings to fill the bench slots. I am certain of this since I prioritize receivers late in my draft, see them at the top of my draft list, and then the system chooses the next four running backs (off the defaultt list in order - not my list) and the occasional receiver.

Has anybody else observed this behavior?

  • Hello,

Has anybody encountered this so far?

Here is a subset of my draft ranking list...

    85. Sammy Watkins
    86. Dwayne Bowe
    87. Mike Evans
    88. Riley Cooper
    89. Cecil Shorts III
    90. Rueben Randle
    91. Kyle Rudolph
    92. Anquan Boldin
    93. Hakeem Nicks
    94. Marvin Jones
    95. Tavon Austin
    96. Tom Brady
    97. Pierre Thomas
    98. Tony Romo
    99. Lamar Miller
    100. Maurice Jones-Drew
    101. Russell Wilson
    102. Jay Cutler
    103. Fred Jackson
    104. Darren Sproles
    105. Knowshon Moreno
    106. Philip Rivers
    107. Terrance West
    108. Danny Woodhead
    109. DeAngelo Williams
    110. DeAndre Hopkins
    111. Brandin Cooks

I let the draft run without making choices.
In round 12, Brandin Cooks was chosen for me, not Sammy Watkins.
Sammy Watkins went with the next choice.
Does somebody know the reason for this?

I also had to put Bernard Pierce in the do not draft column.
If he was in the default column, he would be drafted in around the 10th round every time.
I have over 150 players in my draft list - he should never get drafted.
It is not like I don't have enough RBs - I have 4 or 5 by the time he is magically selected.

    Thanks...

    Mike.

It has been about a month since this was reported - still does not work at all. Not in IE9, IE11, or Chrome. Very poor response to a reported issue.
