The 2012 Fantasy Sports Boss Fantasy Baseball Power/Speed 3-Play Survivor Challenge is here and spots are fillimg up fast. This unique game will test your ability to evaluate fantasy baseball players and matchups in an effort to be the last remaining player when all is said and done. Here is how it works:
-The entrance fee for the league is $20.00.
-There are 16 teams that start out and the task is to pick three players each week with an eye on attaining both steals and home runs which are the only two stats that count. On the first Sunday of the season and every subsequent Sunday until the game's completion, each owner will submit their three players before the start of action that week. Through the following Saturday's games, the owner will the lowest compposite total of home runs and steals will be eliminated from the game. In the event of the a tie, whoever had the higher overall mark to that point in the season would move on. Done completely through e-mail.
-All of the player's roster and the weekly results will be e-mailed to the players each week.
-Once a player is used in a given week, than he can't be used again for the rest of the league's run. This entails the owner must combine planning ahead along with trying to preserve their current status.
-The last person standing wins $120.00 and the runner up gets $40.00.

He just had wrist surgery which is big red flag for a hitter and he may not be ready for opening day. he also will bat sixth in the lineup which will hurt his runs and steals which is his best asset. he is a mess and not worth the trouble even though he will be much cheaper this season. his early draft value has him going in the 7th round.
