Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
In my league, there is one week left in the regular season before the playoffs begin. I am in 1st by 8 1/2 in a 9-cat league. Do I drop Jamal Crawford? My other PGs are Bledsoe, Conley, and Brooks. If I do, do I add Rodney Stuckey who is available in the league? Or do I hold on to Crawford?
They have been dropped and should I pick one of them (or both) up? I know everyone on Colorado is underachieving, but these guys are too talented to continue this lack of production. The only real options on my team to drop are either Torey Krug and Scott Hartnell. I already dropped Craig Anderson to bring back Brian Elliott from IR (I also have Quick and Howard for my goalies).
I forgot to mention that I am in first. I did ultimately decide to let the trade go, but I do have a bad feeling about this one panning out in the end.
I have decided to ultimately let the trade go through but I have a bad feeling about this in the end. Toronto has now lost 6 of 8. If the Leafs keep on losing games, the trade then becomes truly uneven (unless Neal gets hurt or badly under-performs). The owner who got Neal already had many really good forwards (Giroux, Voracek, Backstrom and Zetterberg as their other best) and was barely affected in the goalie position by trading away Bernier (has Halak and Andersen). It did help the other team in that position, but with trading away Neal, it hurt them in the forward position (now has Stamkos, JvR, and Kucherov has the best).
I am being offered Claude Giroux for Corey Perry in a straight-up trade. I just read that Giroux got injured in tonight's game, but avoided anything serious.
This is the rest of my team. I am in 1st place in a 10-team head-to-head league.

There is a proposed trade that will give one team James Neal and the other team Jonathan Bernier. The team that gets Neal is in 2nd. It seems lopsided on paper regardless of standings. I also checked both teams to see if they are really in need of those positions and they don't look like it.
Right now the trade rules is in a "League Votes". I am the commissioner so I have the power to change to "Commissioner Votes" and veto the trade. I am thinking of doing it before the trade likely goes through tomorrow. But do I really do it? I need some feedback.
I have been offered Milan Lucic for Filip Forsberg. Lucic gives PIMs and decent points. Forsberg is white hot right now, but is a rookie. Pull the trigger (I am 1st in the standings by a decent margin)? I am leaning toward no.
