I have heard of so-called keeper leagues where you keep your players from year to year and manage your team for longer than just one season. This sounds really interesting and I want to try this with some friends rather than our usual "for one season" pool.
I was just wondering how these things work. How do you set it up so that you keep your players for the next season? Is it an option when you create the league? Do you have to re-create the league each year and just remember who has which player?

I am co-commissioner for a first year keeper league. It has a few inactive managers that I would like to replace with people who are interested and will be active. The scoring is points-based with G (1pt), A (1pt), W (2pts), and SO (3pts). 16 team league with each team having 12F, 6D and 2G. I'm not sure how I could have possibly done that. It's set as league votes for trade review. When I view a pending trade, it only gives me the "vote against" option. I'm just another vote; I don't think I have the power to cancel it. Unless I go into commish tools, and I'm sure that A) I didn't do that and B) some message would show me altering things like that if I did.

I'm commish in a league that has trades reviewed by league votes. There was a trade a few days ago that was accepted and now it is gone with no trace of it. There is nothing in the transactions history. I am wondering if this means that it was vetoed by a 1/3 vote? If that is the case, I find it strange that there was no notification of it being vetoed. Doesn't it usually show the trade in transactions just with "(vetoed)" beside it if that happens?
Has anyone else seen this happen or can anyone explain what happened here?
