I'm drafting 3rd in a 10 team H2H. Trout and Kershaw are going 1 and 2. I was thinking Stanton, but now I am thinking Miggy especially since he has 1B/3B eligibility in my league. Which one?

Being a Tiger fan I love Miggy. But his recent injuries have me concerned. If it weren't for that I would be taking him since he also has 3B eligibility in my league.

I'm drafting 3rd overall in a 10 team H2H league. At first I was taking Kershaw until I was notified about a trade that results in Kersh going #2. Then I decided to take Stanton. Now I'm thinking about Cutch or Goldy. The 2 issues I have with Stanton are durability and K rate. Should I pass on him? And if so, who for?

Technically we get 1 pt for a Single, 2 for a Double, 3 for a Triple and 4 for a HR. It was just easier to type 1 pt for each Total Base.

Closers are to fantasy baseball what Kickers are to fantasy football. They will only get Saves as long as their team puts them in that situation. Your best bet is to look for closers who get Ks, like Jansen. That's why I took him last year.

Maybe I am an idiot since I have no idea what a "straggle hold" is. A strangle hold I understand. But a straggle hold, I just don't get.

Taking a guy who is ranked in the top 5 over 2 other players who WILL be there late in the 2nd makes me an idiot? Thanks for the insight junior.
I'm in a 10 team H2H points league on CBS. According to my league settings CBS has Puig ranked 19th and Gomez ranked 32nd. I draft 3rd overall so I will have the 18th overall pick in the 2nd round. I already know neither of these guys will be there in the 3rd. Which one should I take in the 2nd. I'm taking Stanton 1st BTW.

I would consider him. He may only be the #5 starter, but he is on the Tigers giving him opportunities to get wins. Plus he has decent upside for a late round pick.

If Cueto was equal to Kershaw, then Cueto would be in the discussion for 1st round picks. But he's not. Doesn't that tell you anything?

I went over all of this already. I went by last years numbers for my league settings and figured out how players would've ranked if everybody played a full season. McCutcheon would've ranked 7th, Goldschmidt 11th and Kershaw 12th. The next pitcher(Kluber) would've ranked in the 90s.
