hmm,tough call but I wouldn't trade Verlander for Cruz. Cruz is one dimensional in that he can hit the ball 500 feet, but he also hits .240 and doesn't steal a whole lot of bases anymore. Runs and RBI's are marginal because he usually hits 6th in that lineup.
If you are looking for offensive help and would want to lump Verlander with an outfielder I would try Verlander + Morse or Lind for Braun. Someone like that. Or maybe Granderson if you like him. Grandy has 10 more runs than anyone else in baseball and is actually stealing a good amount of bases this year.

It can be a good trade for both teams really depending on need. Team A is getting a lot of power, Team B is getting more speed (even Pujols has about 12-15 steals a year), and some pitching. Assuming this is not a keeper league the only thing I would caution if you are getting Pineda is an inning cap. I'm sure the Mariners will shut down their young star at some point. He won't do much good in the fantasy playoffs if he's not pitching.

It's not wrong. Look at the definition of "interception" in regards to sports oh wise one. They are not going to change the history of how the stat is recorded AS WELL as the definition of the word itself due to Bushmaster's fantasy quarterback getting charged with an interception because the receiver missed the catch. You may think you are that important but you are not.
