  ward is hot and on a team that is absolutely rolling over their opponents with their scoring- this means a W for ward- his GAA and SV% aren't shabby either.
  
  Kane is showing his skill and he's been taggin on points here and there. chicago really has no one to fall back on so toews and kane will continue to produce. havlats return may or may not effect their time on the PP.
  
  gagne hasn't been as productive since his "concussion" but should kick into gear soon for a great season- his new center, mike richards could be a better fit than briere was.

  but this is one of those trades that I would simply not pass up.
  you're getting an incredible depth upgrade. gerber is faltering and will lose his job to emery. luongo is showing us why he's the best goalie in the game.
  
  make the trade before he realizes he is overpaying.

  huet, though he has the skill to be a first option goalie, unfortunately is in fact losing starts to price. this makes him a good 3rd option goalie. figure that he will only get around 50% of the remaining starts this season (unless he gets traded). if you trade miller for huet, make sure you get a good forward packaged into the trade

  I'm curious as to what his role will be with the canes- as he has not been having a good year. perhaps they are taking recchi as an example and hoping samsonov can turn it on
