That's really what I had in mind... I mean if I put those players in place of Stamkos then I would have points (hopefully) coming from many different sources instead of just one. and thanks!

Agreed with the guy above, but don't underestimate Brent Johnson. The Pens value him. He should get some playing time and he is a solid player. Also consider that the Penguins have Brooks Orpik back in their defense. That should help his stats and increase the chance of him playing.

I'm almost positive that standard scoring requires three appearances in a week by your goalie.

Considering that you have Lundqvist and Khabibulin as your other two goalies, you should pull the trigger. Bulin is on the rise again, but it's like you said in your other comment, "he only wins when he wants to." Still, they're an improving team who is eager for victory. Phaneuf is racking up numbers upon numbers as a D-man (particularly assists) and Patrick Kane is a young star. Good deal.

Pull the trigger in my opinion!

I know guys. I was banking off the big name of Ovi for this to get accepted. I'll toss in Dustin Brown and probably take Marleau off of the deal. What would you think then?

Yeah I just needed a good smack in the head to stop me from staring at what the crowd was doing which was what you said; accepting those trades. I actually do have Weiss!

I've done a bit of research because I was interested in this trade. By the end of the research, I've changed my mind from saying that team A would win.

I would take team B in this trade.

Backstrom IS injured. Iginla has skill and he has linemates. He cannot compete with Giroux in power play production. Giroux has 68 points in 54 games. He also has 31 power play points. He is a great player across the boards. Thing is, you aren't trading Iginla for Giroux. Iginla and his line have been fired up lately. They have a connection going and that could really get their team behind the objective and get everyone into it; it is all good.

Backes took a shot the other day, a cross-check in the head, and had to leave the game. That leaves you with injuries on both sides. Backstrom's injury has been healing so he could be back during playoff time. It comes down to Bergeron, who outproduces Backes and Backes just got injured. That is a huge win there. Iginla with Backstrom coming back later vs. Giroux. Giroux is a weapon, but his opponents know that. As it gets closer to playoff time, the games get more and more serious. Teams are going to want to cover the guy (if they can). But, Dale Hunter wants to keep his job. Once Backstrom comes back, the whole team will gain an offensive master and Hunter will put him in as much as possible to ensure a playoff spot and his job for next year.

With that said, you have Team B (altogether) outscoring Team A. Down the stretch, B gets the edge. Even if the Iginla line cools, the FA is always there...

I want to get Malkin and Staal because I believe that Semin is being way too lazy to get points any time soon for me, whereas the Pens are depending on Staal and Malkin pretty heavy. Brad Richards is good, but I would rather have Malkin. Semin only gets me penalty minutes and that is really about it. He may get hot, but I don't feel it is worth waiting around for. I'm interested in what you guys think.

So, what do you guys have to say?

I am considering trading Ovechkin in a keeper league and in another league (not a keeper). In the keeper league, I am trading Ovi, Semin, Dustin Brown, Brad Richards, and Kiprusoff for Matt Duchene, Pekka Rinne, and Phil Kessel.

In the other league, I am trading Ovi and Jagr for Malkin and Seguin.

    Feedback ???

Check out the notes for Niklas Backstrom (C). They talk about the great saves he made...

    Wrong Backstrom!
