Who to Start Message Board
Zack Wheeler and Brandon Beachy are supposed to be starting for their teams in one week and are available in my league, so who is the better pick-up and who do I drop for them???
Pick-up: Wheeler or Beachy
Drop: Wil Myers or Michael Wacha
or Stick with what I got
I picked up Teheran a week ago but it's not looking good for him so far.
So, is he worth hanging onto or is one of these available pitchers worth dropping him for?
Lance Lynn, Travis Wood, AJ Griffin, Jose Fernandez
I'm hurting at 1B. Currently have David Ortiz(DL) and Kendrys Morales.
These guys are all available:
Brandon Moss, Eric Hosmer, Dustin Ackley
Who's the best long term option? Do I keep or drop Morales for one of these guys?
Do I keep Chris Carter or drop him for one of these available guys???
Kendrys Morales, Justin Smoak, Matt Carpenter, Yonder Alonso, Brandon Moss, Mitch Moreland, Jordan Pacheco?
I'm really hurting at 1B. Autopick draft only gave me David Ortiz who's about to go on the DL. I need at least one 1B for now to start the season.
Best current 1B with potential upside; choose one:
Brandon Belt, Chris Carter, Garrett Jones, Brandon Moss???
I need 1B and OF help.
Melky Cabrera & Brandon Belt were just dropped and placed on waivers. I would like to pick them both up but I may only be able to get one of them by dropping Garrett Jones(1B,OF).
Who has the higher upside/potential for the season and is it worth dropping Jones for one of them???
I drafted WR Mike Williams (TB) with the hopes that both him and Josh Freeman play like they did two years ago. But is someone like Leonard Hankerson (WAS) or Danny Amendola (STL) a better option. Right now this WR, who ever it is, would be on my bench but out of these three who has the best chance to really shine this year???
Looking for an extra bat as well as a back up 1B. Which of these two are going to help me the most for the rest of the season?
Carlos Ruiz on DL out 4-6 weeks. I need to drop him because I have no empty DL spots on the roster plus he may be out for the rest of the fantasy season anyways.
My team has been killing me this last month with starting pitching. I need to lower my ERA, WHIP & pick up some wins and I obviously need to start the pitchers to do that but they have been so horrible that all they're doing is digging me in deeper. James McDonald went from an All Star calliber pitcher to just another less than good Pirate's pitcher.
James McDonald @ Cin / pitching against Mike Leake
Should I start him or not?
Bailey is already on my roster so I would have to drop him to pick up Griffin or Maholm.
Would love to start all three but can't figure out how?
Can only choose one starter:
AJ Griffin vs TOR (Sat.)
Paul Maholm vs HOU (Sat.)
Homer Bailey vs PIT (Sun.)
I can do that but then I'm worried that Neil Walker gets grabbed up. Walker has been too on fire not to make that much longer as a free agent. Tough decision.
I have Cano as my starting 2B. Uggla has been a huge let down this season, even more so this last month. He has been on my bench most of the season. I could always use more help with BatAVG.
So, with 2 months left in the season is it worth DROPPING UGGLA for NEIL WALKER???
Walker would be another bat that I can bring off the bench but do I run the risk of dropping Uggla and then he "turns it on"? Worth the risk, or no?
My pitching has been horrible since the All Star Break, so is it worth picking up Paul Maholm(ChC) tonight to pitch tomorrow vs STL and dropping Brandon McCarthy(DL).
Paul Maholm(ChC) vs STL
Maholm is on fire. Has won his last 5 starts but does he beat STL???
I did decide to sit him and it paid off for me. I'm already leading my league in Wins so that didn't hurt me. Also, I pitched McDonald and Parker who both won and helped with my ERA and WHIP, where I'm hurting the most. If it was almost any other team than the Yanks and I probably would have started him.
I'm +20 innings pitched over the limit.
Already starting James McDonald and Jarrod Parker tonight.
Should I also start Matt Moore tonight or should I sit him vs the Yankees?
