Goldy side is better. +12R/+6HR/+24RBI/+3SB/+.064AVG
That's the difference between Goldy and Rizzo 2/3 of the way through the season(Let's extrapolate). When we consider a deviation above average, Goldy has it everywhere, and is pretty much the top dog in RBI's and AVG. He is not nearly as replaceable as 60 innings of good K's/ERA/WHIP.

WHatever you do, don't drop Holliday. Guy has been a monster in the 2nd half every year over his long career. I find it hard to believe that the worst player on your team has an o-rank of 50 or so. If anything package Kemp and Rendon in a trade.

There's no reason not to gamble on Schwarber when Maddon says he wants to get him some time in LF when he's not catching. He was the #4 pick in 2014, the pedigree is there.
My catcher sucks, and I have some ground to make up in W,K,ERA,WHIP. My SB and AVG are top notch, and I'm in the middle of the pack of the rest of offensive cats.
The 1st place guy has like 95 points or so and there's 5 or 6 teams battling for 2nd.
I have Goldy.
my backup 1B is Fielder.
Would you do this deal?

Remove his rookie year, when pitchers didn't know how to attack him, and take a 162 game average. Zunino might look more attractive, lol.

How can you like an SP over a guy who practically leads the league in HR, and hits in the middle of a potent lineup.
Don't take this dude. People were saying JD was going to fall off in 2015 at the beginning of the year. Boy were they wrong.
Babip has no effect on anything but average. And if your #3 or whatever in hardhit%, you're bound to be lucky. You never need to trade one of your best if not best asset to improve pitching.

2. Not fragile
All of this is more important than a 32? yr old whose best asset is speed... which Wong is solid in.

True, but Bryant is like 22. Miggy is 32. IF Bryant ascends the ranks to a second or third round pick, this offer won't be there. Also, Miguel has not been the posterchild of health as we approach his twilight.
These are the kinds of risky deals that can win a league, although he probably could get a tad more.
It is far better to trade a year too early than a year too late.
I was heavily scrutinized for trading away Vlad/Magglio/Furcal for Miguel Cabrera a little while ago. Trade has been and still is in my favor.
I was heavily scrutinized for trading Tim Lincecum for "Mike" Stanton and Clayton Kershaw. It was a gamble at the time. Today, only one of those players can be found in free agency.
People laughed at me, said they would have given more.
You probably could get another prospect or some more value though. Bryant is struggling right now.

Except his best year was his rookie year, when pitchers didnt have a book on him. He got overhyped, and he never adjusted when pitchers figured out how to handle him. He's never going to grow as a player, he doesn't have the humility for it. People have been chasing his rookie year extrapolation for a second year now, and its not going to happen. He's pretty much a fragile Yoenis Cespedes.
Have the balls to make an educated guess on what's going to happen in the future. Perez is a catcher that is capable of hitting 20 home runs a year, just like Puig. I'll take the position eligibility over 25 points of BA everytime.

Puig's best year to date looks something like 92-15-65-10-290. Take Sal. Trust me, Puig is so overrated its not even funny. He has how many home runs thus far? 6? Sal has what? 15?
