I'd wager that you lose too. Redman won't fumble again and will have a much better day even though it is the Bengals defense. Pittsburgh just has a knack of knowing how to run against the Bengals. Wouldn't be surprised if he has a TD with 80-90 yards.

Trade Advice- keep Rodgers or Peyton?

    by Grant Sep 15, 2013 10:24 PM

Well first you should have drafted a RB in the fifth.... Olsen for sure, then I'm thinking Peyton because with Moreno emerging I think they'll be handing off more often, he looked real good Sunday. Even though Starks had a good game I don't think it means what Moreno's good game does. I believe the Packs schedule is a bit harder so they'll have to throw more and they won't fight it because they have Rodgers and that WR corp.

He's got pretty good receivers in TB. Jackson and Williams are not slouches.

  • One team drafted QBs in 9 of the first 11 picks? I have tried to trade with him numerous times, he won't. There are 10 teams and 2-QB 4-WR 4-RB 2-TE, 2-K, 2-Def, 10-Bench. He lost each of the first two weeks by a lot but doesn't seem to want to improve the other positions, which are terrible of course. I have offered Edelman, Amendola, Wallace, Moreno, Ivory, Royal, Mattews, Thompkins along with many other players in 1x1, 2x2, and 2x1 or 3x2 type offers. All of those players are huge improvements to his team. My QBs are Smith, Tannehill, Weeden so I need upgrades especially now that Weeden is hurt.. I have emailed him and asked why, no response.

OK so then why is he doing this? My guess is that he has two teams in the league and this is a sneaky way of knowing you are cornering a market which gives him an advantage while drafting with the other team. Here is my reasoning, why would a team do this and NOT trade especially when you are projected to lose every week and have lost the first two weeks, both largest blowouts? Any reasonable manager would make changes and fast. Am I being paranoid or is this really plausible? I'm thinking it is the commish so If I say anything he'll lock me out.

Yet another A+ draft Champion Team

Wilson is a fumble from sitting on the bench for the rest of the year. Amendola and Bush are nursing injuries. There is talk that Freeman might get benched. Your RB and WR slots are definitely weak and that is because you drafted QBs first. Defensive side is pretty good and TE will be fine. Are there any QBs on the waiver wire? If QBs are that important I'd have an extra one.

Every team I put together is without an extra DEF or K, unless defenses can score a lot. OK so you realized QBs were important, kudos to you but who doesn't know that?

    Draft order cheating

    by Ryan Sep 15, 2013 7:16 PM

Click on Scoring and Settings under the League drop down list. Look for Draft Type. BUT what a commissioner does prior to the draft is a moot point for anything after the draft. This should have been discussed at the draft and if not then you can't complain now at week 2. Even if the commissioner switches from random to ordered then "so what" the draft still happened and picks were made based on that order, AT least you haven't been locked out!!! If it is random then you need to tell the trouble makers to shut up.

    Reasons for Locking Teams Out

    by Khan Sep 15, 2013 1:48 PM
Khan Khan Sep 15, 2013 5:20 PM Flag

    Bump...

  • Does a commissioner have the "right" to lock teams out from lineup changes, add/drops, and trades for smack talk, we know he has the ability so when does he have the right? At what point has an owner crossed the line with smack talk?

I have been a commissioner many times and believe that NO smack talk is an acceptable reason. Locking them out from posting "YES" especially if threats are made . I also believe the only time to lock out a team from lineup type changes is if there is obvious collusion and then the commissioner should immediately replace one or both of the owners as well as return the rosters to the previous status to maintain league integrity and keep the honest owners happy.

If you had experiences with this please feel free to add your opinion or position. All POV like commissioners, involved owners, uninvolved owners are appreciated.

No one will start him knowing he's a decoy, hummm, so this is all about your fantasy team. Well that is something that a NFL coach should consider prior to putting a gameplan together, your fantasy team. Incredible

If you trust Gronk to be healthy then do it. I wouldn't, he had 3 surgeries and still wasn't healthy so he needed another. Until Gronk starts producing at a high level I wouldn't make him my #1 TE. Good Luck

  • I prefer having the league standings at the top of the page instead of the current weekly matchups. On this particular issue what do you think? If you want to discuss everything else you dislike about the new look, please start a new thread as I would like to email Yahoo about this one topic and to be able to show them your responses about this particular issue, but if there is all kinds of anger and other topics then this thread will be useless. IDP's - I'm not a fan of them

    by James Sep 8, 2013 8:07 PM
Khan Khan Sep 12, 2013 12:40 AM Flag

Are you the commish? Then learn from this and it'll be better next year. I love IDPs simply because it creates a longer more unique draft and an opportunity to follow the defensive players too. I have a tendency to start drafting defensive players about 1 to 2 rounds earlier than others. If managers don't make it to the draft then when they are drafting kickers and defenses I'm getting stud defensive players. I find this one change for IDPs makes all the difference and that is changing solo and assisted tackles worth double the Yahoo default.

    Kenbrell Thompkins

Thompkins had 14 targets last week, that's a lot. I've heard the Pats want to try it again. If you read his player profile he did about everything wrong that he could, so he has to improve. He'll watch the tapes and will improve but how much as he'll be seeing the top cornerback every week, Cromartie this week. I'm hanging onto him unless I can get Edelman/Thomas/Cook for him.
