I'm not very high on him, he's more avg/speed. pick him up when he proves it. Chances are he wont be a hot commodity right off the bat until he proves something

a lot of managers bat rookies low in the order until they show signs that they can handle hitting at the top. In reality, it doesn't really make a difference after the 1st inning. But once Pederson forces his way into a more relevant role at the top, he'll stay at the bottom, especially with all the big names on the dodgers that seemingly have their past positions "locked" in place from past success

D'Arnaud had a good 2nd half last year and has started off pretty good this year. I would thin he's worth a gamble but not as your #1 catcher. What other 1B/UTL are on the FA pool that could replace LaRoche?

also dont know much about roto. But Odorizzi is pretty solid. Not saying he's the same as Hamels but he can hold his own and deserves to be owned. Walker will be a great option at 2B for you. You can always find pitching

I've always been a Prado fan as a utility, and Brock Holt was great last year before his Aug-Sept slump
Hey guys, how about lets create a group to liking all of D. Strong's posts........
you all are ridiculous if you really take his "insults" to heart. Sure he's crude about some things but that's usually when the questioners are oblivious. D. Strong has been one of the best sources of fantasy info here for years.
Loosen up and stop calling for "cyber bullying" because none of it is. Now go play some baseball

is this a serious question? ? Trout is the best player in the MLB RIGHT NOW who cares about 5 years down the road. Harper has a chance to be a good player but he isn't there yet. I would take the multi-category horse taking up 1 roster spot over 2 ponies that don't put up numbers even close to trout when you combine them
if that manager is stupid enough to offer you trout you should have clicked the accept button before you even got to yahoo message boards

Greene vs. the twins i would definitely take as a streaming option. I'm not high on him for a full season. He was a fringe relief prospect for the yankees and pitched above his projected value. He's not a season long player. But start-to-start streaming i would bet on Greene vs the twins

His point is, don't wait on players to make their MLB debut while clogging up a roster spot while there's a player in your FA pool that will probably put up numbers very similar to Castillo's and is playing right now. He's also calling you an idiot for thinking you should hang onto him

Gio's career numbers arent very good vs. Boston but that was a different team the last time he pitched against them. The individual hitters don't have very good numbers against Gio. I would start him, if you need the IP if not, hold off. Sox are very righty heavy, but ironically only Papi is batting over .230 vs. Gio. but hes also above .300

he's mainly just a place holder until Lindor arrives but even lindor isn't much to scream about. They both profile as a poor-man's Elvis Andrus.
Is he worth an add? He's raking this year so far (off the bench) but nowhere to start in the Dodgers crowded big name team. Would he force LA's hand to a starting roster spot eventually or a trade to someone who will?

can't pass any judgement on day 1. Lester has been dealing with a dead arm all spring so a bad start from him doesn't surprise me. It should have been more important for the cubs investment to get lester right before he blows out his shoulder/elbow. Epstein has been in control of the cubs for 3 years. Rule of thumb generally is that it takes 5 years to build a contender from scratch. This may be a little accelerated but it will take time for all the rookies to get acquainted in the majors. They'll probably make a little noise this year for the WC, but wont contend (or be expected to contend) until 2016.
This is my first auction draft I've done and I'm not sure how to approach it. Quick summary of the league settings, if a player is kept for the next season, add $5 to his previous season's value. Do guys generally get drafted cheaper in anticipation of this or is it just tough luck if you draft Trout for $50 and are paying $60 for him in 2 years?
