  • Need some help here. I'd love to get McCutchen in a keeper league, but is it worth to move either Adam Jones or Miggy for him? Miggy would obviously get me McCutchen +, but my question is if I'd expect Miggy to slowly decline or will he perform like a top 3 bat for a couple more years? And who's better, Jones or McCutchen? Not much of a baseball expert so any help is greatly appreciated!

    Kemp and Kalhoun

Thanks for all the replies! And sorry for the misspelling, I obviously meant Calhoun. It wasn't so much a question of who to keep, just wondering if I "should" move either and what to expect from both going forward. Definitely have been happy though with Calhoun's production this year and hopefully he'll keep it up.

  • Not a trade, but more asking the more experienced, knowledgeable fantasy baseball fan here what to do with Kemp and Kalhoun? Is Kemp pretty much "done" and should I trade him to get some value before he regresses further, or will he bounce back somewhat? And what about Kalhoun? Sell high or is he just breaking out? Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Carlos Gomez for Wright

Thanks for all the replies everybody! Really appreciate. Don't get to watch much baseball so don't always know player's value well. Will see if I can get Gomez for Wright. He asked for Wright in return, so hopefully it will work. Once that gets through, will move an OF for a 3B. One manager has Longoria and Donaldson, so maybe he'll move either for an OF. Or who is a good target at 3B?

    Carlos Gomez for Wright

Thanks for the replies. So then Wright for Gomez is best. But which OF to move? Kemp? Can he get me a good 3B? Or Pence or Upton for a top 3B? I have to move an OF out to get a replacement 3B.

  • Would like some input on whether or not if I should trade my Wright to get Carlos Gomez? It's a 12-team dynasty league. Is it a good swap straight-up? Also, my 3B's are Wright, Prado and Ramirez while at OF I have Trout, Upton, Kemp, Bruce, B. Hamilton and Pence so pretty stacked at OF already, just figured Gomez is an upgrade at OF and then could move an OF for another 3B. Alternatively, I can move Bumgarner for him. Have Felix, Cueto, Teheran, Weaver, Wilson at SP. Any input would be great!

  • In a keeper league, should I deal my Kemp to get Kipnis, straight up?

    King Felix deals

Thanks for the replies all! Will hold onto Felix unless I get a great deal. There's no reason to deal him with the way he is playing.

    King Felix deals

Thanks for the ton of insights. I participate in 4-sports keeper leagues to learn more about the other sports as I'm mainly a hockey guy. So my baseball knowledge is very limited, especially since I don't get to watch many games. I like Votto, but will hold on to Felix for now. He won't give Stanton or Trout. I don't really want to get rid of Felix, it's just that I've him in 3 of my keeper leagues (out of 6) and wanted to see if I could get some other guys. But he for sure isn't a bad guy to have. Will snoop around some more if I can get a better bat somewhere else. But thanks for the replies!

    King Felix deals

Thanks for the insight. Really appreciate it. Will back off Fernandez then. He also has McCutchen, Tulo and Freeman so maybe I'll look at those. Otherwise, I'll see if I can find another deal somewhere else, or just hold onto him. As for the 2nd deal, I'm gonna try to target Stanton and see what comes from it. Unless Marte/Cole are better keepers than the others I have? And what to expect from Votto? Is he declining or still has a couple of great years ahead of him?

  • Need some help with two potential King Felix deals (I'm moving him):

1: Felix + Hunter for J. Fernandez, Gray + Ozuna (I wanted Marte but he's not butching)
    2: Felix + Belt + Zobrist for Votto + Marte + G. Cole

It's a keeper league, well the deals are in different leagues. The first is in a league with 12 keepers and Fernandez and Gray would be keepers, but Ozuna probably not, unless I underestimate his potential. The 2nd deal, we keep 7 keepers and I'll keep Votto, but Marte and Cole are doubtful, since I also have Kershaw, Braun, Cargo, Kinsler, Kemp, Wright, Hosmer. So for the 2nd, is it fair value getting Votto for Felix on long-term basis? I need a big bat there. Or should I target a Stanton or Encarnacion for the 2nd deal, who the same guy is open to moving perhaps.

    All advice is appreciated. Thanks!

    Santana deal

    Thanks for the advice!

  • Is it worth it to move E. Santana for Heyward in a dynasty league. I've got Felix, Cueto, Teheran, Weaver also at SP, and Trout, Pujols, J. Upton, Pence at bat, among others. Just value-wise, is it a good deal? Heyward is young, but seems to be struggling. Any advice would be great.

    Harper trade advice

Yeah, Felix + isn't cheap anymore, but figured with his age he would only get better. But maybe better pass on that. How about E. Santana for Heyward?

Thanks for the reply. That's my fear as well..

  • Would like to get some trade advice on some potential offers. I maybe have the option of acquiring Harper for Felix + in a 12-team dynasty league where we keep 26 of our 30 players and was wondering if that's worth it. Some other guys on my roster are: Mauer, Pujols, Kendrick, Wright, A. Ramirez, Desmond, Trout, Kemp, Upton, Pence, B. Hamiton, Napoli, Buxton, Teheran, Cueto, Bumgarner, Gallardo, E. Santana, Weaver, Wilson, Simon, Perez, A. Bradley. I feel my team is pretty balanced and got top pitching and hitting, but not sure if I should pass up on a chance to get Harper in a dynasty league. I can always swing Pence for another SP afterwards. I suppose it depends on the + but was told it wouldn't be a big add. As alternative, I could get Heyward for Cueto/Teheran/Santana or Cargo for Felix + or Cano/Freeman for Felix. I'm mainly leaning towards getting Harper, if the + is not too much, otherwise maybe Heyward for Santana. But could really use more input please?
