I like him over the ones you mention. Hitting leadoff in the Sox lineup, he should score a lot of runs, steal a fair amount of bases and hit for a decent average assuming he stays healthy. I believe he is under-rated based on his O-ranking.

  • For those that are or have been in dynasty leagues, can you let me know how your league works? How many keepers do your teams keep from year to year? Do they keep their entire roster? What if someone wants to pick from the available players in the new year? Can they opt to not keep a certain number of players and then draft accordingly? Just wondering, as I am gradually moving my keeper league to a dynasty league and want to be prepared, since I have never been in one.

Your greatest weakness is SP, so I would try to improve that if you can. I have never been in a dynasty league, so I am curious. How many players can you keep from year to year? I am moving my league gradually from a keeper league to a dynasty league and want to know how this works for others?

I appreciate the feedback BJD. I would like to have both, but I have a pretty good team in a keeper league. The only other low-hanging fruit that I could drop to pick up Soria would be Archie Bradley, Adan Eaton or A. Garcia, both with the White Sox. Not sure it would be better to drop one of them instead of Boxberger, what do you think?

Don't over-react due to one poor outing. Look at history here. Latos may bounce back as long as he does not have an injury that we don't know about.

I saw where Jake McGee is starting to throw BP. Nathan was already on shaky ground and flexor strains can take some time to recover from. I am guessing that McGee makes it back before Nathan and that McGee has a better chance to reclaim the closer job than Nathan, assuming the replacements do alright. What do you think?

  • I have Boxberger who temporarily has the closer gig in TB, but should I drop him to pick up Soria who was just named the closer for Detroit due to Nathan having a flexor strain. Who has the potential to hold their closer spot and be more valuable this year only?
