Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
The safer of the two will be McCutchen based on ability to repeat performance already in back to back years. Projection wise i think Goldschmidt will be more valuable of the two.
Pence is worth consideration for the 4th round. He is probably the only one i consider taking there but in my mind i just can't see throwing a top 5 pitcher back into the draft pool. I think i'd at least use my 9th round to keep him along with Wacha.

Got a talented bunch. Can you trade before the deadline. Btw how many teams? If you can not trade i would go with Trout, Goldy, Votto,Hanram, Darvish, Waino and Sale.
The reason i choose Sale over Scherzer is because of consistency. Sale gave you close to identical totals for 2012 and 2013. Where as Scherzer is all over the board in performance. I prefer to judge a player on consistency instead of a career year. You can't judge either on wins because they can not control how many wins they get. Wish most leagues switched out wins with QS. Make trades if you can.

Harper, Hosmer, Myers, Strasburg, Darvish, and ill go with Hamels. If you believe Heyward will make a step forward instead of another step back i'd understand if you'd want to go with him.

I'd take Domonic Brown and Julio Teheran. All pretty close in rank but i like Teheran's upside and i prefer to keep the best offensive player available. Not sold on Belt. I'd like to see him put together a solid season instead of two great months.

Trout, Puig,Harvey, MInor, Hosmer, Choo, Medlen are easy ones to choose. For the last two i would go with Jensen even though i hate keeping closers and toss up between Yelich and Walker. I'd probably lean towards Walker. He will be a better pitcher long term then Wheeler. Yelich should be a good OF option with 20/20 potential but if Walker starts out in the rotation like he should he will be a must own in a keeper league like yours plus you already have 3 good options in your OF and you can find better impact hitters for your Util spot.

Not to mention Braun is downward slope of his career and plus you don't know how much of his performance were based on the performance enhancers. I'd go with Puig's future.
Thanks for the response. I understand that Harvey is out for the entire year but i have to keep 4 that will take up my first 4 rounds and no one in that list imo is worth a top 4 rounder. Only reason i would keep him at 4 is because of his future value.
In a league im in you keep 6 players with the first 4 being worth your first 4 rounds of the draft and the last worth the round they were drafted in. If you picked up a player his value is equal to the last round.
12 team H2H league normal stats but added OBP, Hlds, and instead of wins we go by QS.
my first four are Stanton, Cano, Longoria and M. Harvey. Here are guys imo worth consideration pick 2 please:

I think you can pick up either or in the draft. Scarce position but i they are low enough on the totem pole that you don't need to waste your first couple picks in the draft grabbing one of them.
i guess its worth noting that we also have a MI, CI spot on our starting rosters as well as extra OF spot along with an NA option and 3 DL spots. Theoretically you could have up to 32 players on your rosters if you used every spot available.
i personally don't like Alvarez. He is good for power but he just seems to be another Mark Reynolds without the occasional SB. I'd rather keep Wacha.

I'd go with Kipnis and Cole. I really want to say Verlander but just cant pass on Cole's round eligibility and his ability. He isn't on Verlanders level right now but is a great bargain for the 23rd round.

I don't think Harper, or Cargo will be there. At that spot right now Davis or Jones are what you are looking at. I would say Davis but it would depend on the route you take with your second pick. Its a little bit of a reach but Freeman is available for your second pick. He is great young first baseman. So you could go with Jones with your first an if you want follow it up with Freeman with your second if you want to go that route. Or go with Davis then with your second go with Stanton or Felix

Would be helpful to know how many teams. I would do this the first trade but id see if you could get someone else besides skaggs or Eaton. You have fantastic depth at OF so you really dont need Eaton. Like someone else said you could use some pitching to go with Segura. Im probably a minority but i don't think much of Skaggs.
