Draft and Trade Talk Message Board

I avoid Andrus every year -- and I'm damn glad. The other one is Starlin Castro.
-
Nope. Not in a 10 team league. Leake's been damn good. Porcello too. Cole has too much upside.
-
About two weeks ago -- thank god. I wasn't able to post anything for like 3 months.
-
I think you got the better side -- but I hope you have more quality starters than just Bartolo Colon.
-
Yeah, I'd definitely go for this. You're good to go at short with Segura (and Reyes at some point too!).
-
Hey there,
12-team H2H Points league.
I won't be keeping any of these guys since we only keep 3.
I have Salvador Perez, who's having a good enough year. He doesn't really have much pop, which counts quite a lot in my league. Someone just dropped Wilin Rosario. And, in this points league, Jason Castro is available and is ranked higher than them both.
Thoughts?
Thanks in advance, - Reply to
Big Trade: Verlander, Cole, Pujols for Goldschmidt, Profar, Lawrie
by Storm Jun 16, 2013 11:23 AMTake the Verlander and Pujols side. Lawrie shouldn't even be owned in a 10 team league.
-
Frazier's position eligibility makes all the difference. Keep him. Hit a bomb tonight.
-
*They can't really do anything (demote/trade)...
-
On second thought -- just did some more research. It looks like the good money is on Beachy starting off in the pen. They can really do anything with Teheran (who's been crazy hot), Minor, Maholm, Hudson, and Medlen.
-
Great question... I'm thinking about going with Beachy.
-
Ooh. Hate to be in your shoes. One of those calls you might be kicking yourself for in a month either way.
I have Hamilton in two leagues and if somebody offered me Kemp, I'd think long and hard about this one.
My gut is telling me to hang onto Hamilton -- at least he's playing at this point.
And when Josh gets hot, he's invaluable.
Also, I think the Angels lineup is much better than the Dodgers, which should help with the RBI's and runs. -
Haven't been able to find much news on his early departure from the 1st inning tonight.
If that 'forearm strain' or whatever is going to send him to the DL, I'm going to grab Rex Brothers.
Anybody have any news or see the injury tonight?
Thanks! -
BJ Upton is on my All-Avoid Team every year when I draft. So much hype, so little production.
That being said, I'd hang onto him for a few more weeks lol. He'll probably get hot. -
Drop him. I did it about a month ago in my 12 team H2H. Great move. Like picking off a scab. No one has picked him back up.
-
Yes! Me too! The message boards have been buggy for months!
I'm assuming you're asking this because Cueto is heading to the DL.
Wacha and Skaggs have had one good game each. Cingrani has proven himself a bit more to this point. But I don't envy your decision here. -
Yeah. I'd grab Napoli and start Santana when Napoli takes a day off. The next question becomes who do you drop?
-
Yeah. I hear you. Never owned him before, but I grabbed him for a bargain in a late round to back up Aramis Ramirez (and Todd Frazier too it turns out).
-
Just thought everyone should know.
I've also read that he might get 2B eligibility soon -- which is awesome.
And I never knew he was only 23! Hopefully a break-out year is on the way. -
Go with Prince. He just might win the MVP this year -- you can't say that about McCutchen. Prince is consistently a stud and has much more protection in Detroit.
