Draft and Trade Talk Message Board

As a life-long U of Tn fan, I remember attending a game in which Cutler started for Vandy and after an injury to UT's starting QB (can't even remember who it was now) Rick Clausen, the middle (and least talented) brother (Jimmy, Rick, Casey) came into the game. Cutler had been a one man wrecking crew that day, passing well, running the ball extremely well (and often)...and then, Clausen took UT on a long scoring drive: game over. Funny that another Clausen brother will upstage Jay.

Paps, If I had anything I feel to be of value in regard to which of these two defenses to go with, I'd gladly offer it...but I don't. I'd be pulling my hair out over this one (if I had any hair...)! I love Baltimore against Cleveland next week...but that doesn't help much this week! lol If a gun were to my head...I'd go with Baltimore this week, only due to the QB situation there.

Can't say that I agree. I've led my league in Kicker scoring for nine consecutive seasons...and that's not because i toss a coin in deciding which kicker to start. This week is a coin toss because there's nothing of significance that would lead someone to favor one over the other. Not all kickers are the same...and not all match ups are the same.

to be honest with you, my friend is a great guy...but a mediocre FF owner! lol he panicked last season and made a lot of bad moves in a desperation effort to pull out a last second win...and it appears he's done the same again. giving our mutual opponent the Baltimore DEF could be disastrous for both of us. I'm still just shaking my head over this one... looking forward to talking to him later today...and asking him WHAT THE HELL....WERE YOU THINKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 LOL

I'm going to do exactly as you said. Wait as long as I can before either putting Morris in the lineup, or taking the chance with one of "the Murray boys". Tx., Samurai!

Tx., Brennan. Unfortunately, another owner nabbed Randles weeks ago. Thanks for the encouraging word. Unless it looks bad for Murray playing, I'll probably take the risk and play him.

I forgot to mention a crucial fact: my buddy already had the Seattle D for this week....which adds to the fact dropping Baltimore with their match up against the Browns next week makes no sense. He dropped them to add the Tn DEF...this week. ???

i totally forgot to offer a bit of crucial info: my buddy already had the Seattle DEF...making it even harder to understand why he felt he needed to drop Baltimore for Jacksonville...
- John G John G Dec 17, 2014 3:21 PM Flag
Mark, I think the high number of drops is due to the fact that for the vast majority of leagues, this week decides their championships. For us...Week 17 in in full play. BTW...he added the Jacksonville DEF vs. TN.

by no means my "best player"...but Matt Ryan's play over the past few weeks, coupled with Rogers and Manning having a few bad games between them has kept me in the hunt.
