Gibbs, I won't try to talk you into playing "points", but since we changed from H2H five years ago, I'd never go back. Like you said, it takes an immense amount of luck out of the game. In our league, the competition is close, so there's no giving that up. Since week 10, we've had three different leaders and should my opponent overtake me this week (please, no!!!)...he would be the fourth. Plenty of competition if you have experienced owners. Thanks for the good luck wish! It's been fun again this season talking with you and all my peeps!

I"m commish in a league that plays two TEs...definitely won't play but one next year. can't say that I'd consider cutting the position out completely. I don't like the idea of Gronk,Thomas, and Graham sitting on the bench...worthless to anyone.

the commissioner's name alone would have kept me from playing in this league. if i'm going to be cheated, it's going to be by a guy name Joe, or Frank...not K-MoS

My home league, the one that really matters to me...plays this week. I have a 43 point lead in a format that produces an average of around 170 points for a "good game". It's a points league...and my closest competition has the most 200 point games...but I have the fewest games under 160. So what it amounts to is that even if he scores 200, all I'll have to score is around 157 to win. I've only had two scores that low all season (and the fewest scores under 160) in the league...so my chances are looking good. But...it's fantasy football, so I'm not counting my chickens before they rip my lips off!

I say...watch! It'll be tense...but if you win, and I think you will...it'll be a night for you to remember! Be brave, watch your opponent go down in smoke...

I agree...and disagree. I agree on the decoy thing, but from everything I've been able to ascertain, they rested him last week because he could barely walk without being in excruciating pain. I think that fact indicates that he COULD....(repeat, COULD) be nothing more than a decoy this week, but certainly no indication that he WILL be a decoy.

in saying that people are silly to sit him, there's the clear implication that you know he will not only play, but be productive. you're right...you're not mike. you're the guy with the evil looking avatar who doesn't know what he's talking about.

what's silly....is saying that people who sit him are silly. it's one thing to have an opinion...another to act as if you know the future.

I think that Blade's assessment in spot on. It all depends on what you need. If you're desperate for points and need the higher upside of Thomas, you might want to go with him. If you can't afford the possible goose egg...go with Kelce.
