Bummer on the IMPs! I haven't seen any on this board in awhile, but with all these threads, I cain't really keep up.
NN sounds like the safe place to be, and I really like what Rimz has done with it.
I do want to join from home, tho - one week and I'm there!
Haha - we should come up with a "safe-word" for me to include in my posts to you, so you know it's me!
Have you picked all your teams yet? I am saving one more and kinda over-whelmed with the choices!
But I have heard very good things about Blaney4ever's leagues, and as you know, I have a soft spot for Dave Blaney.... -

I think I have been snow-bound too long. I know it is not safe to play on this board too much.
What was that NN address again? The one for fun-loving and knowledgeable NASCAR fans?
Five more days, and I will be home and cain join! -

Good to see you, Da Goat! And, good to see thet someone(s) is(are) being smart!
Thanks for the heads-up Tom. Story of my life, and I imagine Flossin's. We are busy being ourselves, so thet people whom are bored with being themselves talk about us.
Thet's their problem. It reflects a lot more on who they are then who we are.
But thanks, Tom. Feel free to email anytime. Lots of other people do, and some of them aren't even friendly, LOL! While, the ones I wouldn't mind hearing from respect my wishes and refrain, LOL!
And, see ya around, I sincerely hope, Da Goat. You are welcome to email, too, if it ever strikes your fancy.
Heck, it seems lots of people here whom I don't really know & don't want to and who are loaded and bored do. If I know you, I might even open and reply! (I have even gotten some nice ones...pirate).
But, otherwise, jest enjoy living your own lives and we will meet up here when the racing is good and we have something REAL to talk about!
Thanks All, and Sweet Dreams,
Especially you, Mr. Ed.
Sincerely.

hahahahaha....I would have liked to see him getting out of his car after that....climbing out of the dugout, so to speak....
With that image stuck in my head, I'm calling it a night! -

His problem is my money-in-the-bank. Jest about everybody is daid-certain it is "Warren", and I have won 5 different $20.00 bets that it is "Lauren", (laughing-all-the-way-to-the-bank....)

Amen, again, Walter!
As I said, I like Scott Speed. And I really like Vickers, and Skinner. I am not against them at all. I am against the way AJ was treated.
The truly bad part is that RB waited so long to release AJ that Silly Season is over, and he has no good options left this year. If he had known earlier, he could have hooked up with a decent team. But now, he has to jest take what he cain get, and it is slim pickins! Maybe go to the 45 car of Kyle Petty. -

"it is a long season and his equipment isn't holding up...so whos fault is that..."
Actually, it's 'Weasel Killer's'! He went in to sabotage The Weasle's equipment, which is OK as far as I am concerned, but he got carried away and messed with Hamlin's and Smoke's equipment, too, jest for cheap thrills and because he had some spare time on his hands before the security guards came 'round again.
I don't mind him messing with Denny's equipment, but I draw the line at screwing with My Beloved Garden Gnome's cars.
Leave Smoke's cars alone, Weasel Killer! Look at what it's done to him, he's gotten all confused and is hanging out with Things in Tan Sweaters!
OK, need I say it...Just Kidding, LOL! -

It will be interesting to see what Regan Smith does this week. He has only had a couple of notable moments this season, and I never even give him a second thought at any race.
If there is ever a time for DEI to put some real effort into him, it is now. He'll be hurting and hungry, and a good company and good team should be doing their best to harness that. If they cain get behind him now, and turn this into a relatively good last six races, it would be great for him as a racer and DEI as a company.
But, I don't see that happening, either, DEI is still awash in personel and equipment problems, and jest cain't seem to get the critical moments right. -

Watching all of this play out is going to be really interesting.
I was also intrigued by Hot Shot's comment, "I dont think he do much without Jimmy Elledge."
There are so many factors in play now that I am feeling a bit overwhelmed trying to sort them out and handicap them. So, I'm taking a "wait and see" attitude. I sure am hoping AJ shines through it all, tho! -

"The gelding rumors are painful and rude."
And I cain personally attest to the truth of that statement....at least, in my dreams...
And speaking of dreams, I came home from a very damp weekend with very little sleep, and thought I had bronchitis, but my doctor said pneumonia. I have a fever of 104, which I think is caused by my mad love for Mr. Ed., but my doctor says must be treated with antibiotics, no matter what it caused by.
So, I will not be around much this week (you cain all heave a sigh of relief), I don't seem to be good for much except sleeping and feverish dreams of My Beloved Mr. Ed.
If anyone wants to take over my team this week while I rest:
Start in North Carolina, drive west 60 miles, turn left....or is that east and right....never mind.
