Draft and Trade Talk Message Board

I believe Revere will give you better BA and runs and will definitely give you more SB's, maybe twice as many! I don't think Pagan has ever broken single digits in HR's and he won't playing in AT&T and the NL West.

Looks like a fairly even trade to me. Singleton and Zimmer are closer to the majors with Almora and Meadows being possibly higher ceiling guys but farther away.
Singleton has a lot of power, but may never hit enough at the MLB level to utilize it. Zimmmer is a high ceiling pitcher with an injury history.

I would take the Kluber deal, myself. I think Zack Wheeler has a lot of potential, but he still has a lot of polishing that's needed. Kluber is a good bet to break out this year.

I have had Howie Kendrick on my roster several times over the years and I always end up dropping him because his BA is empty. I would keep Miller and Dozier and see is something better comes along. At least both of them have some upside.

Should be lots of options in an 8 team league unless you roster 50 players per team. Some names that are currently available in my 10 team league include Khris Davis, Kole Calhoun, Avisail Garcia. I would probably go for any of them in that order.

As far as who to pick up, I'd have to know more about your league. H2H? Innings limit? If it's H2H with no innings limit, I'd look for SP Erasmo Ramirez who is only 8% owned and is going to be great for the Mariners this year.

You got off to a great start with Braun at #10. Beltre may have been a reach at #11, but he's a solid player. So is Freeman and Grienke at #20 and 21 although if Kipnis was available at 20, I would have gone with him. It looks like you may have drafted Cespedes and Myers fairly high and I am not sold on either of them. I think that's where I am having a hard time seeing it as a competitive team but if you guessed right on them, you are in great shape. The Hamiltons and AGone and solid choices. Hamilton has the potential to win Steals for you all by himself!

In most H2H leagues you do not want position players cluttering up your bench rotting. You want to stockpile SP's that then stream then in and out of your rotation to maximize W's and K's. Concentrate on picking up SP's who might not have terrific K rates but have a low WHIP. You can win a category that is often forgotten about that way.
Most H2H leagues have playoffs in September. You do not need to need to be the top team in the regular season. You just have to be good enough to make the playoffs. I would work on acquiring RP's during the season with the goal of being competitive in Saves by September. Go ahead and punt Steals. You do not need to win every category in H2H! Stockpiling power is a great way for a beginner to do very well in H2H fantasy baseball! Davis and Fielder are a terrific combo to build your power game around. Keep both of them!

Morse is going to get about 3 PA's per game then come out for a defensive replacement. Dunn and Davis kill your BA. Konerko is probably going to be a part time player. Nava is a platoon player. I might take a flyer on Alonso out of that bunch.

I always take fliers on young hard throwing starters when I have a chance and it has almost always paid off. I would take Ventura. You can't beat his upside.
