Might be last year for Yahoo.
Closing the entire Yahoo Games site.
Closing and stopping many other Yahoo features.
They killed a great site by angering the base with all of those annoying video pop-up ads.

If you are under 50 and want to play in a fun competitive 10 year old league, there are a few spots open for this Years "Old Guns vs Young Guns" league. Over 50 may still join if we get enough under 50 to open up more spots.
This is a team league where you compete in a season long contest between the two age groups as well as for individual honors. Fun active message boards and good players makes this an excellent league.
Group ID # : 293

I think the answer is that they do not count the amatures toward the 70 limit so there were three of them which meant that the cut was still 69 people at -2

Lets suppose on the last day the leader is say Sergio Garcia a known choke artist and someone who is likely to play conservatively and poorly with the lead.
Why should I have to play him in order to collect the bonus points over someone I think will score better.in the final round.
I earned the right to collect the bonus points by playing him earlier in the week.
Sorry but your logic is wrong and makes no sense.
Anyone still think we are not the red headed stepchild of Yahoo Fantasy Games.
How hard would it be to see there were only four choices popping in and add a few golfers to round it out.
Yeah I know its free but C'mon if they cared at all whoever is responsible for this game at Yahoo should do a better job then this.

What causes this is to insure a Sunday finish if more then 76 golfer on a 70+ ties week make the cut (66 this week then there is a second bubble cut after Saturday to get the number down to just 70 golfers on Sunday.
the MDF golfers get credited with a made cut and get a small number of Fed-ex cup points but do not get to play or score points in yahoo fantasy golf on Sunday

I too miss some of the old style swanky Tournaments. The Bob Hope Desert Classic over 5 days with everyone who was anyone as a LA Celeb caring about making that Saturday cut to play on Sunday.
The Andy William open, The longest name in the history of the Tour "The Sammy Davis Junior Cannon Greater Hartford Open"
Its a shame that the tour is so corporate now.
Also for those of us of a certain Political persuasion last week was my least favorite tournament in history.
Think of it this way.
As a Liberal how would you feel if the Texas Open became The Hallibuton Classic in Sponsorship of the George Herbert Walker Bush the Third Foundation. LOL LOL LOL
you got 50 teams spread out over 100 hundred golfers Virtually guaranteed to have the winner somewhere.
Find you best team and brag about online. "OOOO I'm so smart" LOL NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He is from my home state of CT and is the bad luck shleprock of golf
Had his comeback ended by an alligator when he jumped into a Florida canal to save his dog and the Gator rolled him to the bottom and ken saved his dog but tore up his shoulder.
Then years later when he was finally back on the Senior Tour was sleeping in the back of his trailer when a tire blow out caused a g horrific crash that killed his wife, his caddy and the dog that he earlier saved.
Now injured and on a prothetic leg he is trying to comeback again but the pain is proving too much.

ok lets play fantasy golf director.
What would you do when the start time is an unknown. When there is no way to know when the second round will end or the third round will begin.
Sure you could have someone sitting there waiting for round 2 to end and then open up the switches for the 20 minute break between rounds but ask your self this question.
How is that any fairer then the current system. All this would do is favor the sickos with no life who are just sitting by their computers and have the ability to hit that 20 minute window.
Most people would not be able to time this consistently so why favor the few at the expense of the many.
The only logical solution as bad as it may seem is to keep the deadlines consistent and then everyone has to take the best guess as to whom will make the cut.
