I am thinking of dropping one my underachievers to swoop up Marc Savard and store him until he comes back. Yahoo and other sources say a Jan 1 return date is "estimated", and he will begin skating with the team in the next few days. My league allows us to drop and add players 3 times, and I have used 1 move already.
Is this a worthwhile risk to take, given what Savard could bring to the table when he returns? I know it is a bit early, but I don't want someone else thinking the same thing beat me to it.

I'm thinking of dropping Vermette or Jokinen for him, but I'm worried if I do it too early, I'll lose out on alot of pts from those players, though they haven't shown much this year so far.

I am thinking of pulling the trigger. If everything goes right for Gaborik, he will get as much or more than Iginla, but that's a big IF.
The clincher is that Keith should get more than Carlson, as Carlson is losing all his PP time to Green and Wideman (though Green has been hurt, and he's gotten some more time)
I like Elias, but he's getting old, and right now might be a good time to sell him high, as I think Eberle might have a good breakout year with the Kid Line in Edmonton.
The Gaborik injury proneness is the big concern in the end!

I agree with the Vanek side. Hiller will probably end up with as many wins as Rinne, and Vanek will most definitely get more points than Stastny, while staying healthier as well.
The only risk is Hiller's vertigo returning.

I didn't even know the option existed until Yahoo set my league to it. Basically "Daily Tomorrow" made it so people had to set their lineups for each day as usual, but the lineup had to be set the day before, and could not be changed the day of the games. The way I typically have it is that players can be swapped between "dressed" and "benched" up until their game time. This is "Daily Today"
