Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
At the same time, nobody knows what Wroten's usage will be. Will he be the starting 2? Will he get 30 minutes off the bench? He's been better this year in the starting role than he was last year. With MCW or not, he's ownable in a 12. Whether it's top 50 value (like now) or top 100, that's yet to be seen.
I mean, assuming similar numbers as last year (Gortat was ranked 55 and Stephenson 111), I'd say there is a 4-5 round gap... I have a couple SG eligible guys (Irving, Thompson, Hill) so it's not like I'm dying at the position... maybe I'll just hold of and go for someone better?
I need SG/SF. Haven't identified any statistical needs to this point... Just don't like losing the value. Could probably wait it out and get someone better. This is just available now...

I need a SG/SF player. Lance Stephenson is on the block. Marcin Gortat is expendable for me, to an extent. Should I make this trade?
Gortat is much much more valuable, but I have a strong need.
Gobert... Stupid high ceiling.
Gobert will produce stats without needing a role. Thompson and Davis are both good, but need to be involved in the offense to have value. Too many people in front of them. Gobert will rebound, stl, and blk with higher %s. Kind of a DeAndre Jordan. Easily him imo.
2 seasons ago he played 74 games. Before the foot injury, he played 3 consecutive full seasons... I understand this foot issue is a concern. But when he's healthy he's a top 20 player. Is that more valuable at my backend of the BN, or are guys like Matthews and Jackson? That's what I cannot decide.

I have an offer for Lopez. It's not exactly what I want, so I'd counter.
Brook Lopez for Reggie Jackson, Wesley Matthews
I just made another deal that cleared a roster spot. At the moment, nobody sticks out for a pickup. Do I deal Lopez to fill that last spot? That final spot may only play 5% of their games. Worth dealing a guy with 2nd round per game numbers?
Add Kyle O'Quinn or Tony Wroten, or trade Brook Lopez for depth?
* A healthy Lopez is my 4th or 5th best C eligible player

Thinking about offering this...
George Hill (Ind - PG,SG), Tyreke Evans (NO - SG,SF)
Joel Embiid (Phi - C), Victor Oladipo (Orl - PG,SG)
Obviously taking a gamble of sorts on Embiid. Hill and Evans are on the back end of my bench.
Send the offer?

I was just offered
Kevin Love (Cle - PF,C), Terrance Jones (Hou - SF,PF)
Kawhi Leonard (SA - SG,SF), Derrick Favors (Uta - PF,C)
I'm torn on this offer... Leonard already possesses 1st round value, and he's ceiling is higher. But will he ever reach it in fantasy? Favors also has 1st/2nd round value. But will he reach it, and when? I think Love is a rock solid 2nd rounder, and he gives me a big time rebounder that I need. But he does have an injury history. Jones has a lot of appeal, as his stock is rising. I think he has a chance to put up great numbers in Hou with no Parsons around.
PG - Ty Lawson (Den - PG)
SG - Kyrie Irving (Cle - PG,SG)
G - Derrick Rose (Chi - PG)
SF - Kawhi Leonard (San - SG,SF)
PF - Paul Milsap (Atl - PF,C)
F - Rudy Gay (Sac - SF,PF)
C - Derrick Favors (Uta - PF,C)
C - Al Horford (Atl - PF,C)
UT - Klay Thompson (GS - SG,SF)
UT - Mike Conley (Mem - PG)
BN - Brook Lopez (Bkn - C)
BN - Marcin Gortat (Was - PF,C)
BN - Jrue Holiday (NO - PG)
BN - Jonas Valanciunas (Tor - C)
BN - Tyreke Evans (NO - SG,SF)
BN - Markieef Morris (Pho - PF,C)
BN - Danilo Gallinari (Den - SF)
BN - Paul George (Ind - SG,SF)
I'd have to drop Danny Green. That's my issue. 30 mpg and this guy is a top 50 player. At some point, the youth in San needs to get the minutes. Right?
I'm still not sure why those guys are relevant? I'm not asking about Williams, or Thabeet, or Durant.... I'm asking about Parker. Just Parker. The other guys are 100% irrelevant because they are not Parker.
You said it yourself, you're deep at PG. Too deep. You're lacking big man stats. I'd hope to land Parker, because he'll give you Rebs. I'd then look to dela Lowry for a guy like Batum. That will give you some Reb, Stl, and Blk, as well as SG depth. Or, obviously deal him for a big like Noah or something?
