Marmol will be more valuable to you once Piniella comes to his senses and Gregg gets the boot as the closer.
The other manager is banking on the fact that you no longer consider Marmol valuable since he wasn't named the closer.
Cueto might win 3 or 4 more games this year, but that ERA will stay at around 4.00 because of the hitter-friendly park he calls home.
I would sweat it out with Marmol until Gregg screws up and another manager needs saves. Then you'll be able to pick-up a more consistent player.
I like Cueto, don't get me wrong, and if he pitched in Oakland I'd say do it, but he doesn't, so don't. -

Why give up a starter if you could just grab Hill or Wigginton off the wire in all likelihood?
Those two are actually waking up while Uggla hasn't shown any signs of life.
Same with Choo, there are other guys on the wire that are still flying under the radar, like Cory Patterson or either Jay or Craig from St.Louis. You could go after Melky Cabrera, Boesch or Jeff Francoeur with one of those starters, and those three are going to keep producing in the decent lineups they're in.
Selling high to buy low is fine, but Uggla and Choo are just stinking up the joint this year, and it looks to be more a case that they're having off-years since they haven't been showing signs of life. -

After the two aces it gets pretty lackluster. Easily a 9 lineup (lacking in speed). But the pitching I'd give a 6.
Solid 7.5 team, but you'll need some depth in the SP.
Right now, Ludwick will fetch you a quality SP. Ludwick won't ever be rated higher, IMO, and you'll get not that much for him just a month or so from now.
You wouldn't have to give up much for a guy like Wang, Danks, Maholm or Carpenter right now, but they're going to get valuable very soon.
And then I'd pick up either Marmol or Downs, who will end up being closers fairly shortly, particularly Marmol, who didn't get the closers job, and who will be the closer soon enough. -

Yes, but only if you play him right. He's the type that succeeds against a certain kind of pitcher, so be on top of the match-ups because his value lies in how well you play him that way, imho.
If you find your team's average that week is strong, you can start him more, when it's not, start Polanco.
Now if you can stash Brett Lawrie for another good month, he'll get 3B eligible soon after he gets playing, but that's after the break. David Freese is another to look at, since unlike Wright, Freese was dropped by a lot of people when he got injured. -

I'd be giving up Hanley for Holliday/Ogando/Broxton.
I just took over the last place team that's thin on overall talent. I need HR, RBI, AVG, ERA, K, and SV and those three guys get me halfway to respectability. I'm acquiring Reyes in a separate move. -

For context, it's my pick now and I have 24 hours, so I'm not thinking about any other possibilities. Puig was chosen earlier and so was Gausman and Fernandez, Yelich and Bogaerts. I like Carlos Martinez and M. Wacha too. I dunno, maybe go with Soler now and then hope one of the Cards young pitchers is up for grabs in the next turn.

Good lineup. You'll just get more for Jeter because of his name than you would for Young, who you should keep, since Jeter is the one on the decline. Mauer is going to need a back-up until he returns in a couple weeks or so.
Zero in on the manager who needs a SS and who has tonnes of pitching, and you'll get a quality SP for Jeter and laugh all the way to the playoffs. There's somebody out there who will throw Burnett or Danks, Carpenter or Ming Wang at you for Jeter, easily.
Keep Dunn or Howard, but not both. They're a drag on batting avg and speed. -

H2H (1 Win) meaning every week, you get a W, a L or a T from your match-up, turning every week into its own event, like the NFL.
Draft for today, draft for the future, keep your team forever.
Be an active and competitive manager.

Nope. Young did quite well this spring and he'll continue to get regular AB's over Span.
You need help in the W, ERA, WHIP and K dept's. And Lackey looks like one of those guys whose going to have all sorts of injury trouble this year.
I'd look at getting a SP like Danks, Floyd, Carpenter, or even Maholm for SP help. -

It's stupid to recommend that trade since we don't know what the rest of your lineup is. Maybe Reyes is a good fit for you, but if your pitching is only average, than you're giving away a lot.
