We did find a owner but now another team is in need of a new GM after personal matters forced the old one to quit. Please email either the Comish or myself if you are interested, thanks.

I've gotten quite a few emails but I'm still looking for that right owner, this league isn't just for anyone. The team you'll be taking over does have talent but the biggest problem lays in the cap management area. Please email me so we can discuss the rules, then ill add you to my Y!M and give you a tour of the site where everything takes place while the actual games are played in Yahoo.

    Thanks,
    Steve

  • Hey guys,

We have a fantasy hockey biding league that is in need of at least one but possibly two replacement owners. We just completed the leagues second off-season but I run a separate league identical to this one with a different group of owners that has been competing successfully for the past seven seasons. We need a knowledgeable hockey person who is capable of being very active in a fantasy hockey league like no other I have ever seen before. During the NHL season, the league needs each owner to visit the league site a minimum of one hour a day (minus the weekends) to preform such task as updating your teams roster page, recalling/sending players to the minors, wheeling and dealing, free agent bids or buying out a player who isn't performing. While in the leagues off-season and depending on the posted schedule, that hourly number could increase and will include some weekend time spent on naming your teams RFA's or biding on other teams RFA's, drafting in the leagues entry draft or participating in the draft lottery as there is always something to do in the TDL. I know the expected participation seems like a lot but this league is like nothing you've never seen before, you will want to spend even more time discussing trades with fellow owners, scouting players while trying to find that known star to develop for your team, this league is NOT just about having your Yahoo line up set. Anyone interested in joining the league needs to have instant chat for Y!M so if you meet the outlined criteria, please contact me directly so you can first answer some generic questions, then we can go over the league rules and any other questions you might have.

Thank you and please enjoy the rest of your day,

  • Hey guys,

We have a biding fantasy hockey league and are in need of at least one but possibly two owners willing to take over a couple of current teams. We are going into only the leagues second off-season but I run another league similar to this one with different owners that has been competing successfully for almost seven years. We're in need of knowledgeable hockey person(s) willing to be active in a very interesting and fun fantasy hockey biding league as during the hockey season, the league needs each owner to visit the league site a minimum of one hour a day, minus weekends to preform such task as updating your teams roster page, recalling and sending players to the minors, wheeling and dealing. In the leagues off-season and depending on the schedule, that hourly number could increase and will include some weekend time so you can name your teams RFA's, bid on free agents, drafting and activating prospects or participating in the draft lottery, there is always something to do in the TDL. I know the expected participation seems like a lot but this league is like nothing you've never seen before, you will want to spend even more time discussing trades, scouting players or biding on players to develop your team, this league is NOT just about having your Yahoo line up set. Anyone interested in joining the league, must have instant chat for Y!M and it is greatly preferred that you already be familiar with another site that we can talk about if you're interested. If you meet this criteria, please contact directly so you may answer some generic questions and so we can go over the league rules which are too long to include in this post.

If it isn't a keeper league then i would do it for sure

  • While enjoying some pigskin today, i wanted to let you know that my two friends and I have decided to create our own baseball biding league with salary cap, 24hr waivers with claims, restricted free agents including compensation bracket, prospect draft and a end of year draft lottery. The leagues every day will be run on a free forum site so it is preferred that anyone joining either has knowledge of that site or has instant chat so i can walk you through it even though its relatively simple. The actual games will be played in Yahoo, where it is expected that every owner will set up their line-up daily.

We are looking at this league for the long term as I have over five years experience running a similar league for hockey so i understand what is needed to be a successful Commissioner. The roster and scoring categories are listed below plus this will be a head to head league but if you have any other questions and are interested in joining, please contact me quickly as there are only three, possibly two posts left to be filled.

Roster Positions: C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, LF, C, RF, Util, SP, SP, SP, RP, RP, P with 10 bench plus DL & IR

Batters Stat Categories: Runs (R), Home Runs (HR), Runs Batted In (RBI), Stolen Bases (SB), Batting Average (AVG), (OBP)

Pitchers Stat Categories: Wins (W), Saves (SV), Strikeouts (K), Holds (HLD), Earned Run Average (ERA), Innings Pitched (WHIP)

Max roster size for MLB team: 25
Max roster size for Minors: 10
