I would drop Iglesias. Oh look to have a better chance at closing faster than Iglesias. Plus, the Reds won't win much, and Oh provides decent ratios. Would you mind taking a look at my Wil Myers trade post?

Thanks Mike, you've been a great help! I think I'm going to swing it for Wainwright and try to flip one of the OF to someone in need of power for a SP, perhaps even throw in Duffy.

I did exactly what you're talking about a couple weeks ago. I traded Jason Hammel for Charlie Blackmon and then flipped Blackmon for Greinke. I essentially traded Hammel for Greinke which anyone in their right mind would do. Do we think that's something I can do here? Maybe package one of these 4 hitters (V-Mart/Myers/Ozuna/Beltran) and a SP for a better SP?

You can absolutely stream when limited to even 5 additions per week, which is how many the league allows per week. You take your weakest one or two starting pitchers and cycle through good match-ups, like adding whoever is facing the Braves, or if you need strikeouts, going with the guy up against Houston. You may lose ERA and WHIP playing with fire like that, but you have a better chance at W, K, and QS. Three categories or two categories? So in the way that I manage my team, I have 7 set SP and 2 I can cycle through. I think that's better than 5 and 2. In these scenarios I have 7 going at least once and two going at least twice, totaling 11 starts. In your scenario you have a total of 9 starts. I think I understand the numbers game just fine.

Probably, but it will take him a while because there are too many players that I'd put in in front of him.

You're giving up a TON for Manny. I'm not too familiar with roto, but, I can't see how his value would equal that of the other 3, especially in a keeper, where the 3 you would be giving up all could be keepers. Plus, Manny isn't running anymore. That's what happens when you become a power hitter - you're too valuable to run.

I agree I have a lot of pitchers, but the other managers in this league like to have that many AND stream so it's a matter of competing in the numbers game. Gordon I'm stashing for a 2nd-half run. JD was mashing before the injury and I can stash him on the DL, and Victor contributes in the BA and OPS department, along with RBI and to a lesser extent, HR.
I think my main issue here is the rest of season outlook on Myers. We know Hamels pitches in a hitter-friendly park and Wainwright started off terribly. Both have been really good of late. However, rest of season, will Myers continue on this torid pace? Or will he get hurt? Similarly, can I trust guys like Tillman and Nola and Eickhoff to continue performing at current levels? Two of those guys have very little history, whereas Tillman doesn't have a great one but is of the age and experience where he can make changes and improve. I guess the same goes for Myers and Duffy. But, Wainwright and Hamels both have tremendous track records where you can have an idea of what to expect. Those are my thoughts, and I apologize if they are jumbled. I can only ask that you try to follow and understand. Thanks again for the help.

I understand that argument, but it could also have been an innocent typo as the two keys are next to each other on the keyboard. And then you could argue for spell-checking, but often time people don't notice because they are in a rush. However, I would argue this person simply had the typo and didn't care to fix it, which I would then agree with you and say they should have.

Thanks for the reply on my post, but c'mon man, you know he meant Devon Travis. No need to be an #$%$. Everyone's just looking for some friendly advice .

This is tough because I think Travis is better, but Profar provides position flexibility beyond just 2B. If you need a backup SS as well, go with Profar.
Got offered this deal: Wil Myers/Danny Duffy for either Wainwright or Hamels....should I take the deal, and if so, Wainwright or Hamels? Any and all help is very much appreciated! Thank you in advance!
Here is the rest of my team, it's a 10-team head to head league.
Util- Victor Martinez
BN- Dee Gordon
DL- JD Martinez
RP- Shawn Kelley

I'm thinking that as well, but what's making me think twice is Myers having the SB dimension to his game. What do think?
How do you rank rest of season values for the following 3 players:
Any and all help would be appreciated! Thank you in advance

I'm leaning that way, but i badly need pitching depth (if you see my staff above). Does that change anything?
