The most effective way to limit Streaming is to have not only weekly limits, but season limits. I usually have 5-6 weekly transactions along with a seasonal limit of 50-60.

With a seasonal limit of 50 and a regular season of 21-22 weeks this only allows for an average of less than three transactions weekly ! This doesn't even address the play- offs. This may seem to strict to some people, but they are usually the streamers causing the problem in the first place.

Using this system forces managers to treat fantasy baseball more like real baseball. They have have all the freedom to use their transactions anyway they want and must live with the decisions they make over the long haul.

You can go farther and have exceptions to address season ending things that may happen, but I have found that taking a hard line and allowing no exceptions to the limits to work the best for all.
