i must have missed out of the fantasy football ethics course. if its apart of the rules, its apart of the game. if you have such a terrible bench where you can add/drop someone then go ahead. you can only really get 3 players locked up per week.

i personally havent done this, but ive seen others do it to me. locking up a qb and def when they knew i needed one. it really didnt effect my team much cuz theres always another option out there.

like dude said earlier, if you add/drop a player in the same day, that player wont go on waivers.

youre prolly doing yourself harm thinning your bench tho unless youre directly effecting the team youre playing against or possibly a team youre tied with fighting for the lead in total pts.

this is just a broader strategy of what i did this week in one league. i waited til friday to drop greg olsen for kurt warner so that my opponent couldnt pick olsen up til monday (after our matchup, he needs a TE).

Here are a few closers you may want to avoid:

    - high priced closers - papelbon, nathan, krod, lidge
    - george sherrill - baltimore could opt for lefty/righty tandem with chris ray
    - troy percival - ancient, Wheeler may get job, Balfour should earn job
    - fernando rodney - zumaya claims to be healthy
    - huston street - lots of blown saves, moves from oakland to colorado, corpas looks fit
    - mariners closer- sleeper possibility but lowe wants to start and corcoran ????
    - matt lindstrom - sleeper possibility, inconsistent, Nunez and Ceda will compete
    - frank francisco - sleeper possibility, has injury history, wilson will compete
    - mike gonzalez - sleeper possibility, walks too many, injury history, soriano is a better pitcher
    - jose valverde - high price for such a streaky pitcher

    - brian wilson and francsico cordero pitched horribly (whip) last season.

so if a pitcher throws 5 2/3 innings, shut out ball and is pulled cuz hes at 110 pitches, someone like max scherzer, and he gets the win... in your league he would get no credit at all. or the pitcher that goes 8 innings, gives up four runs and wins the game. no credit in your league. that is your idea of a real simulation? lol. your dementia would benefit from a split personality, then you could argue with yourself and squash bad ideas
