    Big Difference From Last Year

Yup, Happy New Year to you too Tam..........Right, last year I waited a while for my winnings, but compared to others I got mine relatively quick, some guys waited over 2 months (or more) from what I understand. I sure hope that this year's expedient payoff is reflective of the "norm" from this point forward, nobody should have to wait more than maybe a couple of weeks at the most for their payoff.

As for the thumbing down nonsense, it's pretty old at this point no matter where it's coming from, too bad they even have that feature on here, it's pretty childish.

See you next September Tam, enjoy the upcoming New Year!

Here's a recommendation for you "thumb downers". Take your "actual" thumbs and ram it up your wazoos. Wiggle it around for a while, hopefully the humongous bug that is up there will attach itself to your thumb. If so, remove your thumbs and discard the offending bug down the toilet........

There, now doesn't that feel better?!? : - ) See you next year!

Here's a suggestion for you "thumb downers". Take your own thumbs and stick them up your wazoo, wiggle it around for a while, hopefully you will latch onto that humongous bug that resides in your wazoos. Remove the bug and flush it down the toilet.

There, don't you feel better?!? : - ) See you next year!

A thumbs down for collecting my winnings?....LOL....Well, as they say, haters will hate, I was just giving a FYI for people who waited waaaaay too long last year for their winnings, I sure am sorry if that upset you in any way.

  • I can't believe it......Yahoo just sent me my winnings. Last year it took them over 1 month and that was 1/4 the amount of $$$ that I won compared to this year. To be honest I was going to try another league (NFL maybe) next season because of the slow #$%$ payment last year, but now I think I might give Yahoo another go around. I hope they remain this consistent in the future.

Thanks Tam, but I'm sure OBJ didn't do it alone for you, even still, he was the best waiver PU of the season for sure. I just hope I can grab him next year.

    Happy Holidays....PEACE

Whose your start?? Jeremy Hill or Eddie Lacy??

Tim, Hill's stats are skewed because of that 80 yard TD run (thank you Mr. Hill). Take that away and he ran for about 40 more yards the rest of the night. Be careful.

Tough decision. Hill helped me win the 'ship' last week, and he has a good MU on paper (steelers), but I also thought that Jamaal Charles would run all over them last week, he didn't. I still like Hill very much though.

Lacy can still have a big game. The Lions will not be able to load the box with AR back there throwing, so Lacy should have more room to operate. He always seems to either bust a run or a pass for big yards and a TD every week, and now that they are home I wouldn't put it past him to do it again.

Like I said, I love Hill, but my gut tells me Lacy should be your play......GL

    OBJ Next Year

That's how I draft as well datsyuk. I didn't draft RB's until the 3rd and 4th rounds, and both of those guys were busts (Stacy and Martin). But I recovered nicely through waivers and later round picks.

I hope you get OBJ next year, what a pleasure this guy has been to watch.

Hey Tam, haven't heard from you in a while, hope you did OK with your playoff games.

Anyway, I wouldn't worry too much about VC taking away OBJ's production. Yes, it's true that Victor will certainly be a huge part of that offense, assuming he is fully recovered, but OBJ's production will only take a slight hit, if that IMO.

With Cruz on the field, D's will have to account for him as well, and since we already know that OBJ can beat double coverage, it really doesn't matter where D's focus their coverage. However, with VC back in the LU, it could mean more 1 on 1 coverage for OBJ, and you know how that will turn out.

Grab him if you can, even if it's in the top 5 overall picks, I don't have to remind you that you won't regret it. Have a Happy Holiday and New Year!

Thumbs down....LOL.....gee, let me guess who.

    ODELL FREAKING BECKHAM JUNIOR BABY!!!

  • The Pats D was awarded an additional 2 points. It didn't impact my championship game, although I got 2 more points out of it, but I was wondering if anybody else's game was radically changed because of this correction?

Thank him? Hell, I think I'm going to vote for him for president in 2016, I figure this kid can do just about anything he puts his mind to.

Hell yeah I won with him! In fact, I proud to say that I "tipped" off quite a few people on this board about him, long before he took the field. But to be perfectly honest, I knew the kid was really good, but even I didn't think he was going to be the beast that he is.............man, what a nice surprise!

I'm one of those "fanatics". All he has to do is stay healthy and there should be no regrets.

I agree that his value does not place him in the top 3 picks, but if I have one of those picks I'm taking him anyway. As long as he stays healthy he will produce big numbers, to me that's worth reaching a bit.

If I am lucky enough to grab him I would take him with the #1 overall pick.....that's right, that's how valuable I think he is. I drafted a WR in the 1st round this year and I won the championship, didn't grab a RB until the 3rd round, worked out just fine.

You are probably thinking that I am nuts. There are better WR's right? I wouldn't be so sure of that. Remember, not only did this kid miss the first 4 games of the season, he missed the entire training camp, as well as the OTA's, imagine what he can accomplish with a fresh start.

The usual top Wr's should be Julio, Dez, AJ Green, C. Johnson (stock is falling). But then there are the new kids on the block, and I think OBJ is the best of those. (Evans, Matthews, Watkins, etc.) Julio is always hurt, Green id often hurt, and I could never draft Dez because I can't stand the guy.

Actually I agree with you. It's incongruent to base qualifying and seeding for the playoffs based on total points, and then suddenly shift to a H to H tiebreaker to determine a winner. To be honest with you I think it kind of sucks. I finished in a 1st place tie but was seeded 2nd because I scored less points. I wound up winning the championship by beating the "1st place team", but if our game ended in a tie, then I still would have won because I beat him in the regular season.

It would be OK to determine a winner by H to H matchup as long as that was also how they determined qualifying for the playoffs. Conversely, it's just as OK to determine the playoff teams by highest points scored, after total overall record of course. But it's NOT OK (IMO) to use both methods.
