Looking for Auction Keeper League Suggestions

    by Devin W Jan 31, 2015 11:25 AM

    Draft Rules:

Keepers are added to team rosters before the draft. Their cost is subtracted from each team’s draft budget.

$260 Draft Budget. $1 minimum bid per player. 24 players per team (+1DL).

Nomination order follows last season’s standings: 1,2,3,4,5,6,12,11,10,9,8,7. Waiver tie-breaker becomes the reverse order. New teams will be added between the brackets.

After the auction, any remaining draft budget will be added to each team’s $100 Waiver Budget for the season.

$0 bids are allowed for players on waivers. Free agent adds are always $0.

    Keeper Rules:

You may keep up to 4 players. Inflation for keepers is $4 per year.

Players can be kept twice (3 seasons) before being released back into the player pool for auction.

If a kept player is traded to another fantasy team their contract status does not reset, but if they are dropped it does. If a player is dropped and then added at a new price, the most recent price will determine keeper value the following season.

Keepers must be rostered on your team by July 31 and must remain on your roster through the end of the season. Any player who is added Aug 1 or later is not eligible to be kept the following season.

Players traded after Aug 1 may be kept by the receiving team if they were eligible prior to the trade. This year's trade deadline is Sun Aug 16.

Keeper selections for the following year are due by the last day of the MLB regular season and will be shared with all managers.
