Rate my PPR team and give trade suggestions

Yeah you and Joe really hit at the heart of the problems I see my team having. I'm a huge Landry fan, but worry about any WR used extensively in the kick return game (and this league doesn't score return yardage, so that upside isn't a factor here). My only backup is Roddy White and his bum elbow, so I need more options in the way of depth.

One player who was (surprisingly) dropped as a result of a 2-for-1 trade that just went through is Markus Wheaton. With Bryant's 4 game suspension, I can see Wheaton as a big point-generator for the first part of the season... but who to drop? I'm thinking Eifert, holding onto my high trade value RBs for wheeling and dealing as the season goes on. Thoughts?

  • My 10 team PPR money league recently drafted, and when the draft concluded I noticed a glaring problem with my team: I drafted two QBs with the same bye week. I ended up putting together a trade shipping off my backup QB (Bridgewater) and WR3 (Jordan Mathews) for a new starting QB (Wilson), then added Tyler Lockett with high potential upside to the end of my bench. Tell me what you think of my team and where you would go from here. Thanks!

    QB: R. Wilson
    RB1: M. Forte
    RB2: L. McCoy
    WR1: A. Jeffery
    WR2: T. Hilton
    TE: D. Walker
    W/R/T: J. Landry
    K: G. Gano
    D/ST: Miami
    Bench: C. Newton, J. Bell, D. Martin, J. Stewart, R. White, T. Lockett, T. Eifert

I ended up with a LOT of running backs, especially for a PPR league, but I have high trade hopes for these guys, especially if injuries begin to eat into the RB pool out there. And, frankly, Bell, Martin, and Stewart fell to me so late I couldn't pass on them based on their value.

8th pick 10 team standard how did i do?

I was thinking the same thing when I looked at this... I had to re-read the title and make sure this was actually a standard league and not PPR. I REALLY don't like passing on RBs in the first two rounds of a standard league, because it is SO hard to land a top notch RB and without one your team will flounder.

What I DO like about this team is some of the bench depth, and the trade possibilities that creates. Guys like CJ Spiller, Mike Wallace, and Zach Ertz all have the potential to see a spike in value at some point during the season which could allow you to make a big trade to shore up that RB position.
