@Matthew a team actually has to put a player on the DL before Yahoo can do the same. Believe me, you would prefer this to the alternative. That alternative would be Yahoo placing a player on their DL before it was done by the team. You drop the player as your DL slots are being used then the team decides not to DL him at all. Now you would be blaming Yahoo for the player being lost to you.

Actually that is not how the NA setting works. Any player in the Yahoo database that is not on another team can be rostered. The only thing with Na players is the usage of the NA slot. That slot can hold an NA player but once they are activated then you MUST either drop them or put them on your roster before you can make another transaction. It is similar to the DL slot in that fashion.

Was there an explanation? I personally think that should be something that Yahoo prevents once the draft happens.

I was not bale to find one and i definitely looked.
I do not know why you needed it, but my league is using 3 teams to hold our minor league players so they do not accidentally get picked up by the wrong team and allow the teams that own the minor league players to get to see them in action before deciding if they want them or not (something the NA slot does not allow). I am going to instead try to find bad pitchers to put on those teams and hope i can raise thier ERA and WHIP high enough so they do not matter.
I would also add that I am not sure if min inning thing would have helped me anyway if it is not applied until the end of the season. What I mean by this is would a team that is under the limit still affect the standings? I would think they would and they would not be penalized for it until the end of the season when it is assured they would not reach that value.

I do not know if you can do it randomly fro mwithin Yahoo only but ....
If you do the random draft order outside of Yahoo, you can do that then set the order within the commissioner tools to the order that was determined.
Does that help?
I set my draft and submitted it before approving keepers. I can see the keepers listed in the draft results
Do I have to approve the keepers? or does the draft set up override that?

LOL, OK the 5th one is incorrect. He was not in the list because I had already put him in my pre-rankings list but the other 4 are still valid.
I am surprised there are not more threads about this. This page is horrible.
1) You cannot search for a specific player,
2) You have to load the list in small increments so if you sort by name and you want someone at the end you have to load the whole list
3) When you save the list everything resets so you better not save the page until all of your players from the bottom are on the list or you have to do it all over again.
4) You cannot move multiple players
5) At least one player was not in the list who is in the player database.
I am sure there are other things but I was only in it for 10 minutes this moring

Thanks Sah but I wondering more about how the Keeper Management tools affect things. Which takes precedence an owner's selections via the Keeper Management tool or my selection via the method described in the link
I have a league where we can assign keepers to specific rounds.
The Keeper Management Tools allow you to decide who to keep but, as far as I know, not the specific round to keep them in. Even if it would allow that i prefer to do that myself in case there is a mistake, I only have me to blame.
What i have done in the past is kept the Keeper Management Tools active so owners can view their team, then I turn it off so I can apply the keeper information (who and what round) myself.
My question is if I do not turn off the Keeper Management Tools and an owner selects keepers. Can I, as commish, still assign rounds? I do not want to alter how they keep but i am afraid if they do it themselves and I can not alter it then they will just get their keepers in the first X rounds instead of spread out over the draft based on our keeper rules.
Several links to prospects in the Yahoo database (Yoan Moncada, Aaron Nola, Carlos Rodon, to name a few) do not go to the correct player. Moncada goes to Raisel Iglesias, Nola and Rodon both got to Dalton Pompey.
I did not see a thread on this. I did send an email to Yahoo when i first noticed but then I saw several more I realized it was not an isolated incident.
How late am i to this problem?
I got an email today to renew my keeper league. The email said "The season starts in less than 4 weeks, and getting a league together can take time."
The thing is that I renewed the league on Day 1.
Is this some sort of scam or a mistake?

H2H Points is Fantasy Baseball 101, good decision there.
I do think that the points you chose are weighed heavily towards hitters. Cy Young award winner Clayton Kershaw would have had 473.5 points last year while the 100th ranked offensive player had 881.5
I would suggest something like this:
Runs = 1
Hits = 1
HR = 4
SB = 2
RBI = 1
Walk = 1
Wins = 10
IP = 3
K = 1
Losses = -5
ER = - 1
Hits = -1
Walks = -1
This seems to balance things out a little better. Notice I removed Saves as this would make it easier for your group. They just have concentrate on Starters.
#1 658 831
#25 507 542
#50 453 475
It looks like Pitchers are favored but if you remove the two RP spots the points per pitcher will be higher but the total points to your team provided by pitchers might be equal to the total points provided by hitters.
