Last year I decimated my team in exchange for 7 picks in the first 3 rounds this year.
My current team is as follows:
PG - D Wade
SG - Paul George
G - Tony Parker
SF - Dorell Wright
PF - Pau Gasol
F - Blake Griffin
C - Ryan Anderson
UTIL - Carlos Boozer
UTIL - Kevin Martin
I just got a deal that would give me Monta Ellis for Carlos Boozer.
Do I need Ellis? Can I afford to give up Boozer. I'm leaning towards taking it. Trade evaluator gives me an improvement in 8 out of 11 categories.
18 team, VERY COMPETITIVE league
Forwards to consider keeping:
Toews, Nash, Neal, Kopitar
Goalies to consider keeping:
Bryz, Mike Smith, Elliot
I get up to 3 keepers. What should I do???
A) 3 skaters and 0 goalies
B) 2 skaters and 1 goalie
C) 1 and 1
D) 1 skater and 2 goalies
E) 0 skaters and 3 goalies

My only concern is that in such a deep league (18 teams), having 2 solid starting goalies can mean alot. I mean, if I had Lundqvist, I'd keep just him. But between Bryz AND Smith/Elliot, each of them could put up 25-35 wins each, plus about 5-9 SHO.

So I'm hearing that no matter what, Elliot is NOT a keeper. Correct?
Damn. I should've traded him off at the deadline. Oh well.
I'm on pace to win an 18-team league this year. We can only keep 3. Pick which 3 I should keep. Remember...a ridiculously deep league of 18 teams.
Brian Elliot (picked up as free agent...yeah...saved my season)
Bryzgalov (traded Jeff Carter and Seabrook for him)
Mike Smith (drafted)
We play 2 goalie spots each night, so I was leaning towards keeping Smith and Elliot, but I'm not sure of his fate with Halak in STL. Toews would be my for the skater to keep, but I wanted some other opinions.

In the saves category, I lose almost every week anyways. I'm like 1-7-1 on the season. My other SP are CC, Johan Santana, Correia, R. Lopez, Kuroda, and Masterson. I'm leaning toward taking it since in my opinion Soria and Franklin and just a waste of time since I'm playing them, getting 2 or 3 saves per week, and still losing.
