    Now recruiting for a NHL Dynasty League.

    How it will work:

    - We start out by picking 2 real NHL teams and picking up 16 players for our NHL roster. We will also have 3 players from those teams that can be added to a seperate farm roster.

    - Once we get 12 managers in the league and they pick their teams, we will start a 6 round slow draft to divvy up the players on teams that werent picked.

    - Than Waivers will open to fill out the rest of our roster

    More detailed info will be availble in the commish note once you join. I can also answer any questions if you are interested.

    You can pick 1 team from the top 15 in points earned from last year and the other team will be from the bottom 15 in points earned last year. Team name have to include both names from the 2 teams you pick.

    Example:

    I picked Colorado Avalanche and Chicago Blackhawks so my team name is:

    Chicago Avalanche

    But it could also be:

    Colorado Blackhawks

    Slow draft order will be determined based on the number of total points from last year, most points having last pick and so on. The slow draft will snake.

    We still need managers to take over some teams before the draft. It is in its first year of the keeper league and we will be keeping 3 players.

    Commish does plan on eventually adding more keepers as the years progress and possibly turing it into a dynasty league.

    The Ultimate Sports Fan League is a different concept from that of normal keeper/dynasty that you may know. Basically what we are is a community of owners who are with each other in all the 4 major Fantasy Sports Leagues. We all will be making a Fantasy Football, Baseball, Hockey, and Basketball team. So if you cant make 100% effort in either league please don’t join. You don’t have to be an expert in either sport but you have to have the will to want to learn.

    Another challenge in the league is everyone will choose a city and then you will have to keep a predetermined amount of those teams players in all the leagues. The number for football will be 6. You will be allowed to claim 3 players pre-draft from your hometown city.

    We are a Dynasty League, meaning you will keep ALL your players in each league after the initial draft. We will have rookie drafts in all leagues and a farm system in baseball and hockey. Basketball and football teams have no need for one.

    Example, I am Atlanta so I have to have 6 players from the Falcons, and than a certain amount from the Hawks in basketball, Braves in baseball, and I am taking the Jets in hockey (since they moved from ATL). Amount for the other leagues haven’t been determined yet as I haven’t hashed out the roster slots and scoring format yet.

    All Scoring/draft date/time set in stone.

    Important info to know:

    - its a full keeper/dynasty league
    - Defense plays a bigger role in this league than most because there is no team DEF we will be using 4 Util Defensive players, 1 DL, and 1 DB for starting roster spots. Scoring is set up for Defense to be almost as high as offense.
    - will be a 2 round rookie draft on the league message board each year based on previous years standings.
