if a player was in your NA roster spot at the end of the year, they did not show up on transfer and commissioner will have to manually add player to team BEFORE the keeper deadline so they can be selected otherwise your draft will be screwed up

huge issue with balance, guys will load up on RP to control WHIP and ERA and try to take SV since you only require 3 SP, and W's are a random, take a look at Cliff Lee a couple years ago, pitches well and get a couple W's. QS not enough to balance it out. Your lineup will be very week in the middle infield with 3 starting spots, you have a chance to play 4 1B, and that could be an imbalance also depending who notices in the draft they can do that, and leaving plenty of good OF's on the board by only having 3 starting spots required, it means the top 30 players could get drafted and the rest left as a free agent. by comparison, with the top 20 MI taken, that means very few are left as free agents. I could go on, but you get the point by now.
This is the kind of league i would check the settings and avoid signing up

would not mind helping, but only one guy on that list i would keep--Puig
surely you have some real good players, everyone else is going to keep better players than yours, and you will start with an inferior roster.

with only 5 keepers, you should absolutely keep the top 5 players, age not a factor. i would likely keep, Puig, Rios, Encarnacion, Davis, although i think his year is a fluke, and Darvish.
Other than Puig, these hitters ranked in the top 15 hitters for '13.
Hamilton is not even close and i would guess you could pick him up in the draft somewhere around the 10th round next year.

roster positions are not able to be edited by the commissioner after the season starts.
you would have to do that at league set up, and it is allowed

as long as you have not reached the limit, even if you only have 1 IP left, you can start as many pitchers as you have and they will all count that day. I have exceeded the linit by as many as 50 innings.
I run 4 league, have 3 spots open
Points league, had a couple guy not active and replacing them now, trade deadline is end of season, so you can still make moves.
The league is pretty close and all teams had a chance, example, my team missed A-Ram and Granderson when injured so i am a little short where i expected some solid production. With one of those guys, i would be in contention. Most teams are one guy short. The team that should win had Chris Davis, and that is his move of the year, a late draft pick who had a huge year. Literally any team could win it next year.
Looking for active manager to take a team.
Team 1 based on Pitching includes Kershaw, Bumgarner, Strasburg, Price
Team 2 more balanced and has Hosmer, Carpenter, Sale, Kimbrel

ROTO League (3rd year)
1 of the managers has a team in a Roto league also, need it filled as well
Team has Votto, Machado, Gordon, Werth, Profar, J Zimmerman, Cueto, offense is strong, Rotation needs work. Take it on now and work the waiver wire for some good young SP prospects for next year

I would keep Tulo, Cano, Upton and Myers. All 4 have potential to be top 10 hitters next year. Posey is also solid as a keeper. ADP should help determining who you keep. If they are not drafting in the top 5 rounds, then you should not keep them as you team could be weaker than others keepers. The 5th spot i may go pitcher, Price will likely have the higher ADP, and has good solid numbers other than W. I could see you make a case for Scherzer. None of the other pitchers will likely get drafted higher than the 5th round and you could target them in your draft
