4 goalies. nee to drop one

Definitely Anderson from OTT. Weaker team plus Lehner starts a good amount of games. Your other 3 are on reliable teams and are all reliable starters.

  • I get Perry/Havlat for Simmonds/Suter.

Standard H2H with PIMS, HITS included.

I would drop Havlat and pick up a FA

    Alex Steen for Kari Lehtonen?

Ya I think it's a good trade for you. Especially if you need a goalie badly. Lehtonen is pretty consistent and Dallas will be fighting for a playoff spot. He will get you 30-35 wins which makes him a very valuable goalie. IMO I think Steen is overrated; he had a career year last year and with the balanced scoring of St. Louis (Oshie, Tarasenko, Schwartz, Stastny, Backes, Berglund, plus a few of their prospects) they have three solid lines that will spread it around lots. I don't see him surpassing 60 points this year.

I haven't attempted any trades yet but I'm looking at the waivers cause there are still a few decent D available. And yeah I don't think dropping Markov would be smart just because he plays PP1 with Subban and has the potential to put up 50 points if healthy.

Definitely get another reliable starter. I would package one of your C or C,LW for a #1 goalie if you can. Halak will start lots in NY but the Islanders are weak and Bernier will play at least 2/3rds of Toronto's games. Your forwards are solid and so is your back end. I just think you're a starter away from being a really good team.

    Help with mine?

    Trade?

I'd definitely consider it since you have 4 solid starters. I think you win this trade because Backstrom is a proven point per game centre and Rinne is coming off an injury plagued season so it's still a little bit uncertain how he will rebound. If I were you I would take it; no need for 4 goalies.

  • 12 team, H2H league.

Categories are G, A, +/-, PPP, SHP, Hits, SOG, Blocks. Goalie categories are W, SVs, SHO, GA

    Rosters are C,C,LW,LW,RW,RW,D,D,D,G,G,BN,BN,BN,BN,IR

    My team:

    Getzlaf C
    Hall C,LW
    O'Reilly C,LW
    Mackinnon C,RW
    Simmonds RW
    Pominville RW
    Tanguay LW,RW
    Kreider LW
    Schwartz LW

    Suter D
    Markov D
    Ehrhoff D

    Fleury G
    Schneider G
    Rinne G

Thinking of picking up another D from waivers (Boyle, Carlson, Streit, Bouwmeester) and maybe dropping Tanguay because I already have O'Reilly and Mackinnon on Colorado.

Thoughts? Will return the favor if you ask me to! Thanks.

  • Team A gets: Giroux, E. Staal
    Team B gets: Byfuglien, Huberdeau

The thing is Team B is serious about it, he wants Byfuglien that bad...I know Giroux and E. Staal are having bad years but they're obviously gonna put up decent numbers regardless. Would it be fair for it to go through since there is no intentions of stacking one team in that way?

  • Should I drop him for Thomas, Halak, Elliott, Ramo, or Reimer?

    Mackinnon VS Grabovski

Dpern Dpern Oct 1, 2013 2:35 AM Flag

Agree with him, gamble on MacKinnon. Starting on the third line but that could easily change. I think Grabovski could have a good year in a high scoring Caps team but MacKinnon just has more upside.

    12 man H2H how'd I draft?

by Dylan Bagot Sep 30, 2013 7:30 PM
Dpern Dpern Sep 30, 2013 10:09 PM Flag

Very good forwards in a 12 team league. However your D are pretty weak aside from Shattenkirk and Burns. Wiercioch could really be a good pick this year if he is getting PP time in Ottawa. I would maybe try and improve Pavelec in goalie by trading one of your forwards.

  • My goalies are pretty weak I know but this league for some reason undervalues goalie points a bit (h2h points league, not categories) so I didn't focus on them as much, however I am looking to acquire Mike Smith. I only have 2 D but I will probably drop MacKinnon or Galchenyuk and pick up a free agent D. Thoughts?

    1. (10) Henrik Zetterberg (Det - C,LW)
    2. (11) Pavel Datsyuk (Det - C,LW)
    3. (30) Ryan Getzlaf (Anh - C)
    4. (31) Corey Perry (Anh - RW)
    5. (50) Marc-Andre Fleury (Pit - G)
    6. (51) Ryan Suter (Min - D)
    7. (70) Derek Stepan (NYR - C)
    8. (71) David Backes (StL - C,RW)
    9. (90) Jarome Iginla (Bos - RW)
    10. (91) Mike Green (Was - D)
    11. (110) Pascal Dupuis (Pit - LW,RW)
    12. (111) Cory Schneider (NJ - G)
    13. (130) Nathan MacKinnon (Col - C)
    14. (131) Ray Emery (Phi - G)
    15. (150) Alex Galchenyuk (Mon - C,LW)

  • I lost 171.55 - 171.05.

+ / - is worth half a point in my league and today it shows that during week 22 Mike Richards, one of my players was awarded a + (0.5 points) on April 6th.

It says that it won't be added until Sunday, April 14th, which makes NO sense because this was from an April 6th game. I don't know why it wasn't added to my matchup right away but it looks like it'll be added to this weeks matchup which is completely unfair.

It should be 171.55-171.55 and since I beat him in the regular season I win the tie breaker.

I emailed Yahoo and stuff but do you think they can make an exception for me and award me the win?

I lost out of first round playoffs because of this and this is a VERY competitive league and I find this ridiculous that I still haven't been awarded the win.

    Drop Scrivens? 3 Options- Thanks!

Dpern Dpern Apr 8, 2013 4:05 PM Flag

Drop him right now and pick up Lehtonen. Not sure why you haven't done so yet. Lehtonen is a started on Dallas while Scrivens, Lehner, and Allen are all backups.

  • Lost my first round playoff matchup 171.55-171.05. In my league 0.5 points is a penalty, 5 shots on goal, or a plus for being on for a goal for. WOW.

Any chance that I could get a stat correction for a player?

I won the league by a mile at (8-2) next best (6-4), but injuries to Lupul and Getzlaf killed me this week.

Trade deadline offers last day! Please help?

Deal 3 no doubt. The Kings are surging and Quick is returning to old form. Marchand and Clarkson are pretty similar, both gritty forwards who will get you the same amount of points. And Holtby plays on a struggling Washington team so you'd be lucky to get rid of him for that good of a return. I'd probably go for offer 4 too. You could use a really good centre and he's a HUGE upgrade over Stepan. Sucks to lose Kronwall but I think you have a lot of depth on D even if you lose him. Offer 5 is interesting but if Clarkson is gone in deal 3 then you would have to tweak it. Don't do deal 1 because Hiller and Fasth split in Anaheim. Even though they're ridiculous you won't be getting enough wins with Hiller.

    LW's - PICK 2

by Calgary Shane Mar 20, 2013 8:14 PM
Dpern Dpern Mar 20, 2013 10:19 PM Flag

Lucic and Dupuis. Lucic will give you hits obviously and he gets PP time in Boston. Dupuis won't get as many hits but he will get you some PP assists as he's on the second unit in Pittsburgh.

  • I am currently first in a 10 team non keeper league. The trade deadline is tomorrow. Someone really wants Perry...he was my first round pick (7th overall) in the draft.

My team: Getzlaf (C), E. Staal, (C), Cammalleri (C,LW), M. Richards (C,LW), Perry (RW), Kessel (RW), Lupul (LW, RW), Sedin (LW), Byfuglien (RW, D), Campbell (D), Weber (D), Phaneuf (D). Price, Rask, Howard (G).

I have two great C in Getzlaf and E. Staal so I am good there, I like my goalies, I like my D, maybe my LW could be a little stronger. I picked up Cammalleri of FA and just dropped Pavelski.

Players the person interested has: Crosby (C), Toews (C), Kovalchuk (LW), N. Backstrom (C) (WSH), Sharp (LW,RW,C), Ryan (LW), Brown (RW), Franzen (LW,RW), J. Staal (C,LW), Letang (D) and he has 5 goalies Crawford, Brodeur, Lehtonen, Lundqvist, Varlamov.

Is it even worth it? Other than Crosby, Toews, Kovalchuk, N. Backstrom, and Sharp there is nobody I really want. Perry stared of slow but is a top 25 player in my league right now even after being suspended 3 games. WHAT offers would you take?

  • He started out unreal, but he has 5 points in his last 20 games. That is just ridiculous. Do I pick up Jamie Benn, Cammalleri, Tlutsy, or try to package him in a deal? My team has been great this year so I haven't really noticed how bad he's been, but I avoid dressing him whenever I can.
