Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
Good morning, hope your weeks are going well.
I am in an 11 team Roto league 6x6 with SO/BB as the extra category. Instead of an innings limit, we are limited to 8 starts from our pitchers per week. Between today and Sunday, I have 5 pitchers starting but am only able to go with 3 after already having made 5 starts this week.
Shelby Miller vs. MIL
Dan Haren vs. BAL
Anibal Sanchez vs. HOU
Jason Hammel @ ARI
I am thinking Syndergaard, Miller, and Hammel, but Haren has looked good this year as well. Any thoughts?

I know, some good reads! Yeah I don't know what happened to these boards, unfortunately I do not but for some reason we are still friends on facebook haha

Dick is alive and well-I can assure you haha. This is my first year back in a couple as well, been busy trying to get myself together. Same to you!

I would drop Santana/Pearce and add Guerrero as well as Middlebrooks. Middlebrooks is a streaky hitter and seems to be putting the bat on the ball right now, can pay dividends if you play your cards right.
My pitching is pretty sorry after a rough autodraft...11 team 6x6 ROTO with QS as extra stat.
Current SPs are
I. Kennedy (DL)
Offense on bench: X. Bogaerts, A Rod, Mookie Betts, and H. Kendrick
As you can see it's a shallow league with few bench spots, any of these FA pitchers worth more than what I have?

It was a tough call. With you on Bruce, wouldn't touch him, but I'm not sold on Martinez and Kinsler is made out of paper mache. Love Sale, love Votto,

I'd look for a sell high, buy low opportunity for an OFer not named Springer (and I own him). Maybe try a package for Cargo, Kemp, or Brantley.

Don't really see the point of the trade, but I'll take the Votto side barely. Hosmer has yet to impress me, and Zimmerman and Stanton are capable of big numbers if they stay healthy. Cruz is a beast and I'm an M's fan, and Beltre is the only player in the trade who consistently plays a full season, but I can't see that outweighing the production you get with 140+ games from the latter three.

Agree with Clay, see if Kipnis can string together a couple big games and deal for an OFer.
Never minded having Kendrick at 2B, never flashy but consistent (and durable, one of a player's most valuable aspects)

JD Martinez's full season averages thus far in his career don't come close to that of Fielders. Also, when has JD Martinez even put together a full season...?
